i am filled with love for the world
Nov. 20th, 2003 10:37 pmFuck yeah!!!
The show was awesome! And I get to see it two more times! I loved it. I had a blast. I was cracking up, I was bouncing. . . it was awesome. I killed my hands clapping, and my voice wasn't quite as sore as the singers, but I shouted so much it was getting there!!
Senior Cigar? AWESOME! I had such a great time. Only a couple people went on so much I was impatient. . . it doesn't matter how long you go on, it matters who's doing it. But we got home by 10:20, which is such a record for senior cigar! And I was mentioned a couple times. A couple people said me and Katie were intimidating and they were afraid to talk to us. And I told them later that it's a defense mechanism--I make myself unapproachable because I'm used to people approaching me to make fun of me, and I'm afriad, so I don't let them near. And even after I do, I hold back and aren't that friendly because I'm afraid they'll think I'm weird. So, you know. And one of the people, who is the stage manager and she works so fucking hard and does such a great job and she is amazing, so I told her that, and I also finally told her that I think she is so pretty and sexy, which I've thought since eighth grade (which is when I was 13 years old, for people with a different grading system). And she said (she was alrad kind of crying, cos, you know, she put a lot into the show) "let's be friends!" and I said "Yes!" and it was awesome. :D And I told another kid how I'm always jealous of him because he's so clever and witty and cool. And I told this one girl that I think she's really pretty, just because I've kind of wanted to--she's not a senior or anything, I just wanted to say that. So it was great, I got to say things to people that I wouldn't have otherwise and stuff.
And, even though I quit krough (stage crew) after freshman year, one of the two other freshman girls in art krough that year mentioned me, and the other girl mentioned this crazy freshman incident that I was like, the only other one at Senior Cigar who was also there. XD Awesome.
And my friends went up, and I love them, and I grabbed the butt of one of my friends (
stukinwondrland if I typed that right) because she is sooooo sexy and is awesome as narrator and I couldn't resist, even though she is straight and has a boyfriend (something that caused much amusement amongst the speech-givers and peanut gallery). Much hugging. A lot of really sexy people. No one flashed their tits, though, even though several people were asked to (included girl who's butt I grabbed).
And Katie went up, and said "je vois que tu as un chou" and it was awesome and she is the coolest and I love her and she made me feel special!!!! (not quite in "Maskerade" range with the exclamation points, for any Terry Pratchett fans)
It was just sooooo much fun and so awesome and I'm estatic and thrilled and happy.
(by the way, senior cigar is a tradition--after the thursday show of the musical, all the graduating seniors in cast, krough, and pit get to go and give a speech, and everyone's kind of supposed to take a puff at this cigar, and people talk about the shows, and the people, and whatever they want. . . it's great when people don't just go on and on. . . it rocks. And this year was just awesome--a lot of because they're my classmates now, but it was waaaay shorter than it could have been, and has been! :D)
(I didn't speak because I'm not really involved and just go to rehearsals and take pictures and whatever, so, you know. It was cool. I was just glad I could go at all--I asked the stage manager. . . remember, girl I thought was gorgeous since age 13--she invited me to her Bat Mitzvah, too, even though I only knew her from lunch--and she said it was cool and I'd be able to pay at the door and stuff, and all our friends got to sit together. . . most of the seniors were together at the front, so we were a little isolated and not included when people just went through the senior table and named people.)
I'll stop now. I have homework to do. AUGH!! May very well not get it done XD I will try. Two pages to write, one of which is a summary of the article, the other is my opinion.

Date: 2003-11-20 07:57 pm (UTC)Ben was right. It's definitely like jacking off.
Was it just me, or was he drunk/very happy? hahaha
Go camerawoman!!! you're awesome! and I cant wait to see your pictures!
I'm glad we're still friends. You're technically the longest lasting friend I've ever had (and Katie) and that's awesome. Thank you!!!

Date: 2003-11-20 11:57 pm (UTC)If someone tries to put his face in your bosom and is too short? That could be... worrying.
Though it reminds me of this webcomic strip. http://thedevilspanties.keenspace.com/d/20011108.html
Oh, hi! I'm one of Laura's strange online friends, by the way. :)

Date: 2003-11-21 03:47 am (UTC)It's sad that the only nudity we saw was Tony's butt. :( Oh, and Ben's chest. Not too bad, but still not tits. . . probably for the best--we were less likely to get kicked out or arrested.
lol. that was the best metaphor. He did seem a bit drunk. . . but with Ben it's hard to tell ;) I liked the poem! (and I was so amused by all the people who confessed crushes on him!)
You've got to come over sometime! Soon! Hell, this afternoon! Although probably everyone wants to go home and sleep. After writing this entry, I actually did my fucking social studies article! How insane is that? But sometime soon everyone needs to come over and look at the (literally) hundreds of pictures that I've taken. Except I keep trying to take pictures of the narrators, and you keep not being still. I think in many of the pictures, you're a little less blurry than the other two, though. (that was two very strange sentence structures there, I hope you understand what I'm trying to say!)
woooooo!! Except for Katie, you're probably my longest-lasting friend. I'm not sure when I first became friends with Emily. And I'm still kind of friends with Candice, but not like I'm friends with you guys. Anyway, yeah. (the earlier years of elementary school are kind of a blur.) I'm so glad that we're still friends, too. To repeat what you said exactly XD So many awesome times at Brookside--best school ever! I'm afraid I went through some periods where I really didn't like a lot of people, and it's just totally my fault, and it's kind of meant that I'm missing out on some friends now, I think, because they don't realize that I don't not like them anymore (I know I make no sense, but it's early in the morning!). Anyway. . . I'm just so glad that I got over that so we can start being friends again, because you are awesome and I am sooooo glad you're in french with me because you're a laugh and a half ;)
And you're going to join Academons now, right? :D

Date: 2003-11-21 08:45 am (UTC)Does it reflect badly on me if I can find a webcomic strip for just about anything people can say?

Date: 2003-11-22 01:29 am (UTC)Usually such strange "party traditions" sart (and continue) under the influence of large amounts of alcohol.
Like a guy called Simon I knew, who would always take his trousers off when drunk. -_-

Date: 2003-11-22 11:44 am (UTC)a) Yes, Academons! I'm not smart, but that...doesn't....matter...eh?
b)"a laugh and a half"=the best rhyme EVER!!!
c) this comment=really short!
d)Jason's much too short, but I can be smaller!
e)the crushes! aahh!!! so many!! I'm so glad that's not true anymore though. Yay Jasonalicious!

Date: 2003-11-22 12:39 pm (UTC)b) thank you! :D I am awesome. >.>
c) that comment isn't short, mine is way too long. I'm like the energizer bunny. I just keep going. . .
d) I thought it was sophomore Kevin. . . junior Kevin? (I don't want to use last names--the Kevin who is one of the brothers wearing a purple shirt) So if Jason was much shorter than him, he'd be really tiny!
e) lol. go you! :D I haven't really had crushes in high school. Well, except for english last year. . . but that doesn't really count, cos it's not like I was waiting for her to ask me out or anything. Anyway, it's been very strange, but kind of pleasant.
see? i just talk too much. I've actually left comments longer than people's actual entry. O_O
