My computers want me to be straight, and it makes me really sad. I think it's my desktop. . . At some point, the entire contents of at least three folders containing pictures of sexy women got deleted. The Mia Sara folder (whatever, she was saucy in Ferris Bueller. in which she was 19, by the way) and the Angela Lindvall folder, which makes me really sad because she's utterly gorgeous - she's a model, by the way. And also, my folder of just random picture of Victoria's Secret models, which were from imdb and therefore time consuming to reproduce. This comes to mind because I just got an email from the Angela Lindvall fanlisting - my girlcrushes are more invasive than my mancrushes - k.d. lang has an incredible grassroots promotion organization that contacted me in some bizarre way because I had her listed as an interest somewhere, and was like "Hey, did you know she's touring?" which I did not. Anyway. Angela Lindvall is incredibly fun to look at, and I have absolutely no idea why the contents of those folders got wiped out. The folders are all still there, it's just that they're empty. I think it happened when I was backing up my files at some point. Curse my homophobic computer!!
Anyway, speaking of straight or not-straight, I'm super, duper excited about Yamaguchi's nuptials. ::bouncebounce:: And impending spawn. I hope all are healthy. Awww, I'm so happy for them. It's so sweet to think about. And, yeah, just nice. I just really like the idea of older Johnny's getting married. I have nothing to say on the subject that hasn't already been said, but it makes me happy and excited and I just wanted to mention it.
Speaking of married Johnny's, as this is now an entry of segues, I LOVE INOCCHI. Katie's been sending me all these V6 highlights from their 10th anniversary concert and they're all amazing. I think I'm going to assemble them together and pop it onto youtube. At one point, Okada climbs up Nagano's butt.
In a drastic change of tone, have been feeling a little down for no particular reason the last couple days. Not too bad, I think I'm just restless and not in a mood where I feel like just being alone or inside, but the weather is bad and it's midterms.
Which are going, uh. OK.
I wrote an article for the Sophian this week - my first ever. The art section was in dire straits (one of my favorite groups, by the way) and needed more articles, so I finally agreed to write one. But then I was like "Agh! What do I write about!!" and since I could write about anything art/literature/movies/music-related, I went with what I know: comic books. :D Which was awesome. But then I was like "Agh! I hate writing!" and it was sort of tough but in the end I just got to write about a few comic book artists that I like, in a very self-indulgent manner. And I was like "Guys, no one is going to want to read this!" but everyone was like "Uhh. . . yeah. It's the Sophian. That's what we do." XD So I got to write about comic book artists (Mike Mignola, Todd Nauck, Damion Scott, and Darwyn Cooke. Oh my god, Darwyn Cooke OWNS ME.) and find pretty examples of their work and lay it out all cute. And now I got to see my name in print! :D I'm really ambivalent about my writing - I never feel that great about it, but I always want to show off, in the hopes that it'll actually turn out to be good. I do well on papers, though. I'm at least good at writing those.
I guess I should try and get some work done. Yes, Saturday night and I'm at home trying to do schoolwork. It's a very Smith thing to do. XD I'm seriously not in the mood for it, though. Something about the rainy, windy weather really makes me want to be outside, especially at night - I've had my window open and everything. I was invited to a craft event, but it didn't really seem like a craft I'd enjoy doing. I feel bad, though, because I sort of led the girl running it to believe I'd make an appearance. Anyway, the internet is super-slow tonight, so I know that everyone else on campus is just sitting at home surfing the net too.
