Dude, I still really miss Young Justice. Haha, I'lll probably be making posts like that every so often for the next 8 years or so. I think it was cancelled before I started college. XD
In real life news, starting at Smith again has been so exhausting I can't even write about it. XD Roommate!Corey and Steph and Becca have been great, but there's just so many people I don't know, and with Corey across campus, she's my most reliable meal partner so meals are stressful again, plus I don't even know who's in the house and stuff. I really need to get to know the house. They seem nice. But then, I think it will be hard for me to sort of get in, because the sophomores know each other and the first years are doing orientation together. But the other returning from abroad seniors are having the same problem, so I don't feel bad - but two fo them are best friends so they have each other.
It's not bad, or anything, there's just been moments of "This is harder than I thought it would be" and it's really exhausting. But no, not bad. We'll see.
Also, my room is huge and awesome. I'm like "WOOO". I need to spread out the carpet but at the moment I've got this fan-on-box scenario going on. I also have one of those big pillows with arms, and a chair with no legs that you can put on your bed, or the floor, and you can lean back in it without having to lean against the wall and it had rockers and is really comfortable. :) And I'm getting a bean bag chair.
So, I'm slowly getting to know people and getting re-adjusted to life at Smith. I forgot my vibrator so I ordered another one and then there were credit card problems which makes me very sad. You'd think there'd be a place near Smith where you could get a vibrator, wouldn't you? I also forgot my pocket drive and my Bible (Agh, I'm a religion major with a focus in Biblical texts and I forgot my much-adored Harper Collins Study Bible!) and the storage unit that hangs in my closet and probably a lot of other stuff, too.
Anyway, tonight i'm going to go hang with Corey and her boyfriend Mike, who seems quite nice, although actually I'm a terrible judge of people so maybe that's a bad thing. XD My first impressions are always wrong - but often it's people that I think I won't like turn out to be really nice so hopefully we're good. We're going to go to the mall and at midnight watch Clue. :) Although I'm sleepy. But hopefully caffienated sufficiently.
And tomorrow is my first brunch since returning to Smith! :D So excited! First brunch in a year! Oh man, and it's omlets! :D Anyone who knows me knows that I am a nut for omelets. Haha, ahh, that's something I wanted to talk to Katie about - Jun's "NUT" shirt in Kimi wa Petto, which she is watching and greatly enjoying. :)
Lots of reading to do this weekend, too. Oh well. Time to dive in! Plus, math homework. Is it wrong that I'm excited about that? I missed math!
