OK, today everything looks like it's spelled wrong. This is probably because I played a stupid neopets game with spelling. OK, it was an awesome game and I played it three times yesterday (which is the max that you can get points from). Anyway, yeah, I keep looking at words like "accessed" or "appearance" or "uniformly" and maybe some that don't start with vowels, and thinking they're spelled wrong, even though they're not.
Also, I've started packing, which is good because I leave on Tuesday. Geez. Anyway, it's not that much to do, I think, so it's fine. I have to wash a lot of underwear and see which jeans fit me and that sort of thing. But also, some stuff is just missing, and it's really annoying. Actually, we noticed this before - an entire season of the West Wing and maybe some other DVDs have disappeared off the earth. And also a present I got for roommate!Corey, which is really annoying. But other things that I've had recently have vanished, too - a case of DVDs and a necklace that I wear all the time. :( And I can't think of where else they might be. So that's really annoying.
In other news, Katie and I both find Aiba incredibly adorable. Also, it turns out my family (or at least, Katie and I) are predisposed to love TOKIO and dislike KAT-TUN - specifically Ueda, who Katie didn't like without any input from me (although the more odd and creepy and spastic he is on the misleadingly named Cartoon KAT-TUN, the more I like him). But yeah, I only have about 2 subbed TOKIO videos and I was like "Katie. . . I want to show you these even though they aren't the best vids I have because TOKIO are so great" so I made her watch them and she was totally in love with them! :D We're really into Leader. XD He cracks us up, just mentioning him and we laugh. And we both think Yamaguchi is a big sexy hunk of man. . . ok, a miniature sexy hunk of man, and that Taichi is too cute for words, and that Nagase is an absolute dreamboat! I'm more into Mabo than she is, I think. Whoa, I just saw a scan from 2004 where he'd shaved his head - I had no idea he'd shaved his head! And he has such a great, great face. Which I already knew, but it was nice to be able to see how striking it was even without his striking hair. XD So yeah, I have extra Mabo love just in case.
Kanjani8 is still a bit of a blur to her, though. There's a lot of them and she has trouble with things where the subtitles go fast and Kanjani8 tend to talk a lot. I need more Kanjani8 subs! If only she took to them as easily as she did to TOKIO. Seriously, though, I need more TOKIO subs even more. We're both pining for them together. TOKIO anything, really.
In other news, HPV vaccine part 2 today, for which I hilariously had to wait in the children's waiting room. Then I slept for hours. I was reading this super-crazy-hot erotic story and I forgot about it and there were like, 5 more parts, and I only read three before I had to stop and take matters in hand, and that puts me to sleep. I think I had another end of the world dream, too. My dreams have a lot of really dire situations - in general, but I think in particular lately. I can't remember this one, though. Oh, wait. There was kinky sex in it, and then some type of killer that was just, like, sitting around, and I was like "shouldn't we tie him up or something?" but everyone was too involved in the kinky sex (some dude was having something done to his penis) so I tied up the guys hands, but I'm not really a suspect containment expert so I was really nervous. And the dude was sort of chill, and talking to me, and not trying to get away but I was scared and didn't trust him so I tried to tie him up better but he escaped anyway and I think was dragging me through some sort of portal. He was creepy. And it was all me being scared and everyone else was fine, so I was like "i guess things are ok" but I was still scared cos this crazy killer guy was lying around, but I was trying to stay calm since everyone else was. Hahahaha, aren't you glad I remembered? I think yesterday there were vampires in my back yard. In my dream, that is. I need to stop taking monster naps in the middle of the day, clearly. Also, both times when I woke up I'd been asleep on my arm. XD
Anyway, the aforementioned roommate!Corey, who used to get to hear about a lot of my dreams since I saw her right after I woke up, will tell you that that one is fairly normal and tame for me. Except for the addition of penises. Usually my dreams have a high rating for violence and disturbing images, not sexual content. Except for this one where I was in prison, but that was actually a pretty good dream - also, penis free.
Actually, I'm often powerless in my dreams. I had a short series of nightmares about some sort of advanced alien beings destroying the earth and me not being able to do anything about it. (there were two of those, with variations. Ants were involved in one.) (Also, geez, I use parentheses a lot these days. Terry Pratchett : footnotes :: Laura : parentheses. Only I'm less cool.)
This dream is normal, but it was funny - sometime last year I dreamed that my alarm clock went off and I woke up. So the dream woke me up, for real, and I got up thinking it was 8 AM or whatever, cos I thought my alarm clock had actually gone off, and then I opened my curtains and it was 3 AM so it was pitched black and I actually spent a little while thinking the apocalypse had come. It was like "Shit. The sun's been extinguished." Luckily I figured it out.
OK, that's enough of that. I actually think of myself as someone with pretty good mental health, but my dreams are always sort of fucked up.
Oh, I just realized I should totally have written about my fun visit to Katie at the 'deis. Oops. Maybe another time.
