Stolen and adapted from [livejournal.com profile] shimmerdusk. I made it 5 people instead of 10 cos I'm lazy.

The first 5 people to comment in this post get to request a sketch of a character of their choosing from me. In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their drawing ability level. If you absolutely can't draw, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to offer drabbles or icons or something instead.

I can draw okay. See? Copying things is easier, though - I recently did a drawing on the back of a manila folder copying a Rembrandt self-portrait in sharpie. I was bored at work. I really like the way it turned out! XD Anyway, no promises on when things will get scanned. If only I could find my tablet. . . But yeah, this seems like fun so comment away!

Had a lovely day off today. :D Slept til noon, chillaxed til 2:30-ish, then hung out with mom. We made (delicious) cookies and talked about Shackleton (I think she brought him up!) and watched the beginning of the Colin Firth Pride & Prejudice, aka the most awesome adaptation of anything ever. XD Then, latkes for dinner! I'm incredibly fond of latkes. I ate 6 or 7. So delicious!!

My brother is home visiting from Boston, it's fun and like old times having him here. Lots of banter. XD Also yesterday we were having spaghetti and Mike declared that spaghetti=fun and I thought that was adorable so I said, "yay!" quietly. And Mike was like "Haha, that equation makes Laura happy." Indeed. Is it a Japanese thing? I've started using "yay!" a lot more, just to express more generic happiness. It feels good, somehow. Like you're celebrating the little things.

OK DEFINITE NO ON NUMBER TWO. I will not draw any Jonas Brothers. It would involve looking at them too much.

Duuuuuuude, though, I need a reference pic for the first one. And the third although I can improvise fajitas. And probably find a reference pic myself.

Haha, Jemaine, yay. I bet he's fun to draw. XD

No reference pic is needed for the first one! All it needs is a funny hat. And a fluffy looking suit. And then put glasses on him to make it Jemaine-ish!

Ohhh, latkes <3 Wonderful comfort food.

Spaghetti does equal fun. Not equal to fun, however, is the substance that passes for spaghetti sauce in this country. *sigh.*

They do say "yay!" a lot, and I've picked it up as well. They'll also say "yatta" sometimes which just makes me think of this.

I wish they were easier to make so I could have them allllll the time!

Oh dear, what is it like? Can you make your own? I've never attempted this but it seems I've heard of people doing so!

Oooooooh man, Yatta! XD I saw that waaaaaay long ago, before I'd even heard of j-pop, probably, much less johnny's. It's so awesome. I was so, so pumped when Marina was on Shukudai-kun and they started mentioning her husband's involvement.

Also, do you want a sketch? :D
