It's been a good weekend. Yesterday I slept a lot and masturbated a lot. And broke my vibrator! ARGH!!

But I also went to the mall where I got a Birds of Prey TPB that I actually haven't read yet (but there was just, like, one issue I'd missed--the one where Zinda showed up. I had no idea who she was or what was going on with her for a little while) and also a pair of fancy black sandals. I needed black sandals to wear to work, because the only black shoes I have are boots, so in hot weather I couldn't wear black clothes. I hate wearing socks in hot weather. Except in the office. It's very air conditioned, so I usually slip socks on at some point during the day. Anyway, the shoes are very nice, but they have a bit of a heel. And I never ever wear high heels. But these are low enough that they don't really affect the way I stand or walk. So maybe they'll be good practice. And now I have some nicer shoes, if I should ever need them. Also, they were on sale for $26. So I am pleased with my purchase. Tomorrow isn't supposed to be that hot, so I plan to wear the sandals with my black pinstripe pants. And a shirt of some kind. . .

I also got cotton candy, which did a really good job of dying my teeth blue.

Today, I cleaned the bathrooms! Mom wants us each to clean the bathrooms once a month this summer, as practice for when we're on our own. It's a good idea, although sort of an annoying one. But I felt a sense of accomplishment after doing so.

And then I baked cookies! But first, actually, I took a bath! I was going to shower after we finished watching "From Russia With Love" (those first three James Bond movies are really by far the best. This is something I feel very strongly.) and mom said, "Well, since you just cleaned the tub, you could take a bath!" And I was all, "Haha, yeah. . . wait a sec! I totally should!" So I took a bath and it was very pleasant. I haven't taken a bath in several years! I listened to the Blues Brothers soundtrack and no one threw the radio into the tub to gain demonic power, causing me to become a misty-type spirit person who was actually a gateway to the void.

I wonder what Secret is up to, now. I can't get used to calling her Greta. And I always call Bart Allen "Impulse". There's a bunch of other superheroes that I mostly refer to be their crime-fighting name, I'm going to catalogue them sometime, but with Imp (that's the other thing Katie and I call him--never Bart) it really hurts because he isn't actually Impulse anymore, and that makes me SO SAD. ARGH!

Anyway. After that we made delicious chocolate chip cookies!

And tomorrow i hope to take Katie for a brief ride on the J, M, or Z line from Chambers & Centre St to Bowery & Delancey St. Can I just say, those lines are really, really weird? They go uptown to Brooklyn. O.o I can't handle that. Then we will walk a block north on Essex St to Rivington St, take a left and go one block to Ludlow. And, if we manage that, we will be at Babeland! Where I will hopefully buy a new vibrator for not too much money. And have time to eat lunch. I think Katie wanted to get hot dogs at some point anyway. (Apparently there's another one that we can get to via the ACE. It's only one subway stop, but it looks like more walking. I'm not sure. I think I'll go with the first plan, but I'll show them both to Katie.)

Hopefully this will work. And I will make a satisfactory purchase. ::Sigh:: I wanted to try a different kind, but it would have been nice to have two. I will miss Blind Egghead Johnson.
