Today. . .

. . . today I lay on my english teacher's lawn. XD It's kind of a long story. I guess it'd have to be, actually. I'm not even sure where to begin.

OK. This year our english teacher, the AP English teacher at our school, who's been in my town and at this school for most of her life, is retiring. Possibly related to this, possibly not, but she invited my sister's fifth period class out to dinner. I'm in seventh period, but I got invited as well. (My period is pretty much comatose. Fifth period is the only one that really developed a relationship with her.)

Oh, crap. I just found out that Laura Fraser was in a movie with Isabella Rossellini. That sounds like something out of a dream. But oh my fucking god. It's directed by Jeroen Krabbé. I can't tell you why that means something to me, because it's a secret, but. . . whoa. Hm. He's going to be in Ocean's Twelve, apparently. Anyway. Meltdown imminent.

This entry is going to totally lack cohesion, because I was reading a fic at the same time, and then I decided it'd be a good idea to find pictures of Laura Fraser to make icons of, because I saw an icon that I thought was of her, but it wasn't, but Laura Fraser is a lot prettier than the girl in the icon, and indeed, most people. So I thought I should try and make some really pretty icons of her, and maybe do actual cool stuff to them. ::shrug:: And then I stumbled upon Isabella Rossellini, and then. . . (on a related note, I was just at the IMDB page of a movie that should not be called a romance). Oooh, both of them are just so gorgeous. ::gibberment::

Right, so. Sorry. English classes. Supposed to meet at a restaurant for dinner. Long story short, most people didn't show. Which was totally cool--there were five of us, and it was 5 fun people and we had a really good time. Much laughing and telling of jokes and all that.

The strange thing was that the teacher herself forgot. We tried calling her several times. At first we couldn't get through, but then later she presumably got home from where ever she was, and apologized profusely and said she'd make it up to us somehow.

Apparently that wasn't good enough for us. XD Me and Katie happen to live about 4 houses away from our teacher. So it seemed perfectly sensible to stop by her house! There were a variety of alternatives facing us, however. We had to avoid doing anything that would lead to her malicious neighbors phoning the police. Also, anything that would lead to the teacher herself phoning the police. And we were trying not to give her some type of cardiac arrest. After toying with a couple of ideas, we decided to lie down on her lawn (with our heads together in a star shape) and then phone her and tell her to look out the window. She was watching TV in her room. But didn't answer the phone. We left messages. Then rang the doorbell. Then tossed pebbles at her aluminum siding. She was studiously ignoring us the entire time, and we were fucking cracking up! After about twenty minutes (it's a nice night, though!) we hear "Go away!" For a second we thought she was really mad at us. But I think it's all good. . . XD Amusingly enough, we need to go to her house to get our yearbooks signed sometime this week. Anyway. Yes.

I'm not sure if I left anything out, since I was jumping around so much. But that's the story. lol. It probably wouldn't make much more sense if I'd written it in one piece. XD The Laura Fraser interlude probably complicated things, though!

We now return to your regularly scheduled programming.
