Last night, I meant to go to sleep early to make up for the 3 o'clock thing the night before. I ended up going to bed at around 1:30, maybe even 2. Oops. But it was totally worth it, because Katie stayed up late with me and watched Buffy and Angel! :D See, tomorrow everyone has work except for us (and our brother, actually, but whatever) so Katie decided it'd be fun to stay up late and do things together! Yay!! :D Cos she won't need to spend time with David in anything resembling the morning, because he is at work all day! :)
First we watched Graduation Day 2, because it rocked. :) Then, I skipped this week's episode of Buffy S7 (second to last one) and went to Angel, because I was fairly certain it was going to be more amusing, and I think Katie likes Angel better--basically because I was pretty sure she'd be happier watching Angel. I was just really happy that Katie was sticking around and watching with me. I like spending time with her, and it's a lot more fun watching these shows with a friend! Katie was working on her knitting and wasn't ready to go to bed yet. Also, she adores Lorne, so she was really happy when he showed up on Angel.
I also enjoyed the episode, because it was the one in Season 2 with Harmony--mmmmmm. . . I love Harmony. and Faith! And Katie doesn't like either of them. But the only time she's seen Harmony, she's betrayed people. O.o I still think Mercedes McNab is crazy sexy. Same for Eliza Dushku--but I also think Faith rocks hardcore. In Season 7, at least. I managed to convince Katie on the Eliza Dushku (douchekerchief!!) is sexy front by watching Tru Calling, so I can accept that even though she still doesn't like Faith. For Eliza is all about her voice, I think. For Mercedes, it's her lips and her figure. It's kinda weird. Sometimes I look at a her and I know that I shouldn't think she's as pretty as I do. Incredibly sexy is indisputable, but her face--Katie's right, it is long! I dunno. Here's a set of pictures where she actually looks really good :D Well, the first three illustrate the "scorchingly hot" part, and the rest illustrate the pretty and attractive and all that. I'll admit that sometimes in scenes with her I got distracted staring at her lips. >.>
Sorry, I got totally off-topic there. And didn't intend to. Whatever--I'm writing this entry mostly for myself anyway. :)
When Angel finished, Katie was pretty much finished knitting, but was still hanging around. So I rewound to the Buffy that I'd missed. And, hoping to lure her into staying, I told her that Lorne showed up at the end of Buffy :D (Lorne is an Angel-only character, if you were wondering) She got really excited, which was cute and amusing. Then he realized that I was just joking. And then she realized that I was trying to get her to stay and chill with me! :) We both were cracking up at this point, but also had an "awwww, so cute!" moment. XD So Katie agreed to watch Buffy with me (it was really funny because Angel actually showed up at the end! So there was a guest star from AtS!! And we both wanted to jump Angel. Usually we just kind of love him like the little puppy dog that his is. I have a very warm affection for him, but usually I don't really find him sexy. Except for when he came in at the end of Buffy, and one time in Season 3 which was just. . . cool. Katie's with me on both. Cos she happened to watch the other with me, too. We swoon, we shriek, it's fun :D ) as long as we would watch something else with Lorne afterwards.
"I'll watch this with you as long as I can watch another with you after"? Woo hoo! :D And there'd be an episode of Angel that I'd been wanting to watch with her, because it was really cute and had Wes/Gunn action and their secret handshake, and Lindsey being particularly sexy--it's rally hard for Lindsey to get any sexier than he is. . . I mean, really. But he manages it by driving his truck and running Angel over with it and then beating Angel up with a sledgehammer! And wearing cowboy boots and a wifebeater underneath a plaid flannel wool-lined jacket. ::drools:: And it had Lorne! And Katie and I have been wanting to teach ourselves the secret handshake. They didn't show the end really well, though. We will have to improvise.
So, I stayed up at least an hour and a half longer than I'd have wanted to. But it was totally worth it. :D Me and Katie also mourned the loss of Jonas. Because we've been watching our Season 4 tapes and also the Season 2 episodes that David taped for us off the Sci Fi Channel's "Stargate Monday". And nooo Jonas. :( And he's just adorable! We're going to have to watch some of my Season 6 tapes or something. I still have a couple holes.
Well, that was kind of a weird entry. But I had a really good time with Katie last night, especially when she realized that I was trying to get her to stay with me by luring her in with Lorne. So I wanted to remember it.
