OK. Work.
First period, French: no homework.
Second period, Math: am finishing take-home test of doom tomorrow, so Katie and I have to do the little bits on our own today. But first I napped, and then she napped.
Am also going to be needing to get to Perin's at 9:30 again, but this time it's in a good (secret) cause. And will help with school-time adjustment.
Third period, doom: some economics work. I've made baby steps--picked up the book, brought it in here. . . will probably work on it very, very soon while watching my Stargate tapes from last night and afternoon and what-not. ::blinks:: Well, I know which tapes I mean.
Fifth period, art: AUGH!!! So don't want to do an art piece. Even though I should. Good news!! Naked woman piece that I think I might be able to use for my concentration, if I can swing it right. Yes, I think so. Pose and expression are a kind of cross between masculine and feminine, which is good. So. . .

1) artemis
2) queen
3) female atlas
4) czj
5) couch
6) president
7) still life (oils)
8) still life (marker)
9) dragon
10) life drawing

and that leaves me with just 2 left!! WOOOOO!! The teacher doesn't like the couch one, I don't like the president one, and the still life's are a little iffy in terms of my concentration, but I don't really care. I can just say I'm addressing femininity, and it's prescence, position, and. . . manifestation in my life and in art.
So I'll do Miriam as one of the last 2 pieces, and I have a fascinating idea for a comic strip thing for another, but it's becoming quite difficult, so we'll see. But I need some good stuff to balance out the weak pieces. Because as much as I'm not into this, I'll feel bad if I get a lower grade because of the concentration. ::winces:: I really want to get a 4, and I think I can, but I maintain that I was lead astray on my concentration topic by choosing a theme that is only ideological and has no stylistic elements.
I need to photograph a lot of those. All of them, actually. Agh!

I also really need to finish reading The Stranger! lol. So short, and I just don't read it. I was going to say I just can't read it, but it's really that I've barely tried. So, oops. (that's for seventh period, English, if anyone was wondering ;)

So I have to do some reading, some math, and whatever doom eco I have. Today. I will do this today. :D And art. . . maybe tomorrow! :D After math test. I'll start research today.

Just a little more ficcing, first.

I had a lovely easter, by the way. We had our hunt inside, I think for the second time in my life. We've been quite lucky with weather, come to think of it. Anyway, even though I was kinda crap about finding stuff inside XD it was fun anyway, because I was a little worn out for searching my grandpa's enormous backyard. And I ate a lot of delicious food. My aunt makes brunch, and she always has a lot of exciting stuff, and I get a little braver every year--it's all delicious. Mmm. . . fruit soup. So good. Especially with sour cream.
We went over on Saturday to decorate eggs, also. I drew a dragon on Katie's (it's kind of a little running joke, thing. slightly complicated) and it turned out pretty good, but low contrast once we dyed it. And Katie drew my aunt's two cats on hers, and it looks absolutely adorable and amazing! Like, we have this book of cat cartoons, and her cats could have been in it. Very, very cool. Katie does cute well. :D Sometime, I will upload the European History Chibi Comics, and then you will see.

And we played Wizard. Which is kind of an odd game. Imagine Hearts, but instead of getting points for getting a trick, you get points for guessing how many tricks you will get, after looking at your cards. (and you want points) Actually, you get 20 points for guessing, and then 10 points for each trick. And it starts out that everyone only has one card, and there's only one trick, so all you have to do is guess whether you'll get the trick or not. But each hand, you get one more card. So we played with 6 people, and a wizard deck has 60 cards, so we had to guess how many tricks out of 10 we'd get. There are a couple other complications, but basically, I was very, very bad at it. lol. I'd always guess 1 trick more than I ended up with, or, in one case, 1 trick less. So by the ninth round, I had only 10 points. Actually, I've no idea how I had even that many. I guess I got a couple points early on. Anyway, I managed to end up with 90 points after the last hand XD I actually said that I would get 6 tricks, and I actually did! lol. It was a riot.

Oh! Here is a link to my explanation of easter traditions from 2 years ago. I mention that my Uncle Tom writes everyone little notes telling them what to look for. These are all on different brightly colored construction paper, folded in half, with a picture on the front, and kind of a hint as to what he'll be making fun of us over inside; and then they open up and tells you to look for "20 chocolate kisses, 6 pink plastic eggs, and one real egg with your name on it". (I'm always pink) And the Grand Prize Egg, which I never find. XD there's also more mocking on the inside, although he's usually fairly lenient with Katie and I. This year, it actually seems that he's mellowed out, because none of the cards were very mean. But instead, he did a guessing game. We were all kind of labelled as different bunnies--each card would say on the front, "Who is _____ bunny?" And he'd read the card, and we'd have to guess if that was us. I was first, and I was very easy, because it was "Who is Hellgirl Bunny?" XD I'd just told them on Saturday that we went to see the movie, and explained it very excitedly and in great, incomprehensible detail. XD We told them about how Hellboy has a key for a hand, and the whole thing with the Pope and the vision. So on the inside, there's a drawing of Hellgirl Bunny, with a key (in her hand), and there are three doors in front of her, labelled Wellesley, Barnard, and Smith. :D Katie was Wizard Bunny, because she was freakishly good at the game, and she had three doors, too--Brandeis, BU, and Wesleyan. Although she's mainly choosing between Brandeis and Wesleyan, and I'm pretty settled on Smith. :D

Anyway, I was extremely pleased with my card. In previous years, I've gotten one from Hercules Bunny, who thanked me for watching his show so devotedly, and I know that I got a playing card one in the past as well, after dominating at rummy XD Wait! I've found the card. It was Spit that I was playing that year, and the front of the card reads, "Lightning Laura goes to. . ." And opens up to, ". . . Las Vegas. Slap Jacks her way to fam & fortume. Then goes and finds 6 Pink plastic (see? pink!) eggs, one real egg with her nam on it, 20 kisses or chocolate eggs, and the grand prize egg. Love, Blackjack Bunny. P.S. Only kidding about you finding the grand prize egg!!" (lol--that actually isn't personal, that last bit. Like, he hadn't noticed that I never found it or anything) There's also an illustration of two bunnies playing spit at the top. One of them is labelled Laura, and is saying "I win again", and the other is my cousin, Joe. It's labelled "Joe (loser)" and he's saying "That's not fair". XD

I found another that must be pretty recent because it says "IM for Laura" on the front, and on the inside IM Bunny asks me to disconnect long enough to find. . . actually, I was yellow that year. But it says pink, and pink is crossed out and yellow is written in above it! lol. I'm also instructed to "go back to 'talking' with my 'bunny' list" when I'm done. And am warned that "IM 'withdrawl' starts in 20 minutes. Please hurry!!!". ::grins:: I love those. Although I always used to be nervous when I was little--and they were never very bad. Not even as bad as that one. Which was extremely appropriate. Much IMing that year. Now I don't IM much, I just internet.

Oops. Ok, that got to be really long. But I want these preserved in case I lose them!! I'm just really glad that I did a huge clean-up of my room a while ago, even though it's a mess again thanks to clothes and boxes of comic books, all my keep-sakes and papers and god knows what else are neatly organized and on shelves.

Shutting up now!
