I loooooooooooove Puppet Angel. (If you're wondering, puppet angel here) Puppet Angel!! Awesome!! Cracks me up unfailingly.
And I've decided that Jonas is almost as cute as Puppet Angel, so that says something. I mean, when I'm watching someone, and I'm inspired to compare them to Puppet Angel, you know they're good.. Not that either of them are in Jamie Bamber territory, but still.
I've also decided that it's a really good thing when I get to watch TV alone. Because that way I can shout "I want to sleep with you!!!" at both Wesley and Sam. Wesley from Angel, Sam from Stargate. >love< This week Angel was much more fun than Buffy. Buffy was all doom, and Angel was all. . . well, Wesley! :D Much shrieking and yelling and lusting. Cordy helped with that last one, too. Manly!Wes! :D Too many exclamation points. Still. Manly!Wes saves girls by sleeping with them. I could use some of that saving. (actually, the sex wasn't exactly necessary, as it turns out) (I'm writing this as the show finishes, so. . .) Oooh, Cordy hawt. OK. I'll stop. Yes. New fandoms fun--especially when I have access to them! Actual viewing. Buffy Season 7 is not fun, though. ::hides::
On another note, I'm a moron, because I totally should have gone to Bethpage. Stupid. The weather wasn't bad, and Allison was there. Argh! And I won't be able to go again til god knows when!! I suck!! Ahhh. Mike tells me that the weather was bad at OBVR and there weren't many guests. Plus, I might not have taped Angel and that would have been a huge mistake, and I might not have explored Puppet Angel. So, good things!
Good thing: one of our best friends from elementary school is visiting another elementary school friend, and the whole crowd is going to her house at 8 to watch a movie and chill and catch up. Rocking! Totally. This girl was the best, she was sooooo much fun. She has the best imagination. She'd always come up with these great games. We played a lot of made up games. Like role-playing games! :D Farm was the big one. We'll always remember Farm. I was the baby, Beth. And she was the older sister, Mary Anne. Who has a twin sister, Anne Mary. XD I can't remember who else played it with a regular character. Candice, I'm sure. And other people would play on and off. Katie was the mom sometimes. Em I seem to remember being a character named Claudia? But maybe that's just me getting stuff mixed up--we were heavily into the Babysitter's Club books. Candice and Amanda invented all these other babies at one point, and I resented them because I was the baby (I was also a baby, but shhh) and also because they were naming them after countries. China, Belgium. Candice had a pet spider named Germany, I think. But worse, Belgium was nicknamed Belly! Anyway, these were just imaginary babies. I think I tried to kill them on at least one occasion. We also had polyarmory!! Well, we didn't know any better! There were triplets, Pete, Paul, and Pal. And they were all married to one woman, Ivy. Poor Ivy. . . None of these characters were played by anyone, we'd just talk about them. Like, Pete, Paul, and Pal would always try to cook, and they'd always burn things. So we made them cook in the barn, and they'd burn stuff, and there'd be lots of smoke. And we'd be all "Oh no!! The barn is burning down! . . . Oh, wait. It's just Pete, Paul, and Pal cooking." XD And I had a pet pig named Squincy, and we raced. And we always won, of course. Ahhh, Squincy. I love thee so.
Amanda was such a good foil for me, too. Because she loved to come up with these games, and I was a very. . . I don't know. Bratty, self-centered person. (I don't like younger me. I had a short temper, I was violent, I was conceited and bratty and just not cool.) Anyway, I would always like to play the "romantic lead" or the main character or whatever. Like, we played Power Rangers, and I had to be the Pink Ranger. And we played Farm, and I had to be the baby. We had another game that just the two of us played, The Island Game. It was a lot like Gilligan's Island--we were stuck on this island. But there was this whole thing with a Good Peter and a Bad Peter (thinking about it, there was a boy named Peter in our grade. I wonder if Amanda had a crush on him--she thought of these names) who were both in love with me. ::sigh:: It's so embarassing, thinking how I was then. But I love thinking back on these games--that one was particularly fun. All the boys played soccer, and we pretended that they were evil inhabitants of the island, except for Candice, who was the only girl who played soccer. She was ok. lol. I mean, in the game. In real life, she was more than ok, of course. lol. I remember we got off the island and went home. . . to London, I believe. But we ended up back with the Peters at some point.
Good thing: mom is making latkes!! We were supposed to go out to celebrate college acceptances, but then we got lots of apple sauce, so I said we should make latkes! And mom said, "whoa! I have potatoes and sour cream!" so, yes. :D Actually, she may not have said "whoa!". And my mom makes the best latkes, and I love latkes.
