interesting...in my history class we just took a test on the reformation and the spanish inquisition and stuff ^_^

ahh. . . the Protestant Reformation. I was so ready to write an essay about how Luther's ideas differed from the established Catholic Church. Sola fide, sola scriptura, and sola gratia. Ah well. I managed. lol. I'm glad that I didn't have to write about how Luther's ideas were different from those of Calvin and Zwingli, cos there's almost no difference. From what I can tell, Calvin was more gung-ho about predestination, and since he was a better speaker his ideas travelled better, and Zwingli was (way) more gung-ho about making the church sparse and severe, and he had funky ideas about the sacraments and the Eucharist. Which I don't understand anyway. ;)
