if anyone was concerned, life has, as usual, ironed itself out. I will never have to go to drivers ed again, and I was able to meet NSB advisor with no problems.

also: got a 95 on my research paper on comic books, despite the fact that I lost a couple of the books I wanted. One of which I found the evening of the day I handed the paper in! Really frustrating. But she said that the paper was "superbly done! and interesting", so I guess it was all ok in any case. :D

Have gotten a couple of other grades--semester and quarter and all that--and all is well, in math and english at least. Gov is another story, but oh well.

I hate when people complain about what others write in their journal. Totally exploded at this kid today. Not that he didn't deserve it, but it was kind of an overreaction--I grabbed his arms. Still, the fact that he managed to provoke me enough to get me off the couch shows how strongly I feel about this. I don't really like the livejournal culture at my high school. >.>

I'm going to have to try and find some type of substance, this is getting silly. I dunno, though.

you guessed it. little bitch was saying we needed to stop complaining about the innit bitch. told him to shove it. he asked what my user name is, but that doesn't necessarily mean he'll add me--with any luck he still won't be able to find this name by "gywnn-gull", you know.

jason confronted me about not adding him, which was awkward, but. . . it's my friends page, and I'm very picky about it. ::strokes friends page::

It's no-one else's business who you add, don't add, or comment about.

Journal's are precisely a public thing, more a private diary that people choose to allow others to read. If someone doesn't like what you write, they don't have to read it. But if they start complaining about what you write or who you add, well it's none of their business.

definitely. It just becomes complicated in this situation, cos there are people who I'm friends with in real life, but still don't want to add. Not Jason so much--I'm surprised he even cares, he doesn't seem to spend much time on LJ--part of the reason I didn't add him was that I noticed he wasn't responding to any of the comments people were leaving and stuff.

But there is one person who I love in real life, but her journal isn't one that I've added, for reasons I can't explain cos I don't fully understand them, but nonetheless, I don't want her on my livejournal friends list. But I want her on my real life friends. . . list. . . whatever. So I worry that she'll feel bad. Cos she's awesome.

It's complicated when there's someone you don't want on your list, but still don't want to hurt their feelings.

Yes, he was complaining earlier about people's innit bitch posts. I should have told him to shove it too. Haha! I be you're right, he definitely won't be able to spell guingel.

WTF mate? Jason confronted you? Gimme a break. That's surprising, I didn't think he knew you well enough to want to add you...But like [livejournal.com profile] tiggspanther says, it's your business who makes your friends list. Jason is going through what seems to be a permanent ego trip.

well, he didn't, like, come up to me and say "hey! why didn't you add me!". . . I can't remember exactly what we were talking about, but he said something like "yeah, you know what's sad/annoying/whatever? that you didn't add me" and I was like "well, you can write whatever you want, but I don't have to read it"--my rule. (then he said "but I never post", to which I should have replied "then why do you care if I add you", but whatever)

did that make any sense? lol. . .

I'd like to read your paper on comics, if you wouldn't mind. It sounds interesting. ^_^

eep--ok. I'll post it soon. I'm not sure how accurate it is--not like the teacher could really check up on it. It's hard to find books that give you a good, full perspective.

It's really mostly DC with just a touch of Marvel thrown in. Cos I like DC. :D

uhm, was I supposed to get a call from you last weekend? I was confused.

I am so sorry that I didn't call. I totally forgot. I am an airhead. *bashes head on table*

I suck.

don't worry about it--and don't hurt your head! :) I was just a bit concerned that something had happened, since you didn't make any appearances on LJ either.
