heya. I slept a lot today. Which is why I'm up at, as usual, 1:30.

Uhm. Midterms were good. I haven't gotten back my physics grade yet though. ack! But the test itself could have been worse. Here's the others:
Math: 96 before curve, 99 after. I believe the highest grade.
Social Studies: 93 before curve, 100 after. Also the highest grade. lol. That's it though--
English: 87. . . I don't think she has a curve. Not the highest grade in the class, but that's ok. I'm still happy with it ;) (apparently many people did not do so good on the english midterm. There were some grades over 90 though)

We all had thursday off, so Wednesday night we slept over emily's. it was fun--we played Zoomibinis and watched The Goonies, and then on Thursday we played Zoombinis and watched the commentary on The Goonies ;) We also made bagels with "The Bagel Biter: The Original Bagel Guillotine". O_O

Read "Night Watch" by Terry Pratchett. It's awesome! I loved it. There's so much stuff in there, I need to read it again to fully grasp all the ideas. I mean, the plot isn't difficult to understand, although there is some time travel, he just has so many themes and ideas about life and the world and what-not. Now I'm reading "Soul Music" which is good as well, but I love Vimes and I love the ones with the Watch best. Vimes is my favorite character, so when I heard about "Night Watch" I was thrilled--a new Terry Pratchett, and it's one all about Vimes! :)

Am going to see Cabaret tomorrow in The City. lol. . . we thought we were going to go see the matinee, but it turns out our tickets are for 7:00 (our uncle got them) (well, me and Katie's uncle. Not our parents. But they're going too. Mike's not going, he's at school--but he's also Mike's uncle ;) and it's Sunday, so I have school the next day. Oh well! :)

We're going to watch RUDY in sports medicine. ::grins:: I'm so happy! Even though I own it. lol. When I first saw it, I was thinking we should watch this in sports medicine. And we are. Very rocking.

In related news, I'm developing into an emormous Sean Astin fan! :) Before, I actually didn't have a favorite LotR cast member, I just thought they all rocked. . . but now I think Sean is definitely number one. Probably my favorite celebrity right now ^_^ He's so cute!

Am going to do my physics homework now.

side note: once we were channel flipping at Emily or Perin's house. . . I can't remember. I think it was Emily's. And they were getting different people's opinions of this song. There was this one guy, and he had kind of an accent, and he said "This song makes me 'ungry!" (I think he was actually eating at the time.)
That's all I wanted to say.

yes, I have read Good Omens :D I thought it was too good to be true, when someone told me that Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett wrote a book together (possibly cloudtrader, actually). But I was wrong--it was true, and too good ;)

yes yes! I have so many favorite parts in that book. What I'd really like to know is, who wrote which parts of it, though. You know? Like, did they each write certain characters, did they switch off chapters, or what...

yeah! Sometimes you can kinda tell that a section is definitely one or the other, but a lot of them I can't figure out. The asterixes (sp?) are good though, you can bet that those are Terry's bits.
