I think I'm going to, uhm, take some of you off my friends list. I mean, actually, for all I know the people that I'm removing don't even read my page, in which case, well, I won't feel as bad.

The thing is, I have not been reading some journals lately, especially not as well as I should. And I've been pretty bad about reading everyone's; and then I get to a friends page that is kinda clogged, and it's difficult to get to the journals that I would read. (I hate using friends filters)
If I'm taking you off, it's not because I don't like you, it's because I haven't been reading your journal. I mean, I wouldn't add you in the first place if I didn't like you. If you comment on my journal you're more likely to stay, but that's kinda moot. or maybe it's not. I just like the word moot.

I really want to keep my friends list small, confined to the people who I really love, or if not at least ones that post infrequently enough that I can ignore them. Advice to people who have gotten journals recently: be discriminating in who you add.

Feel free to dislike me and trash me. Just not to my face, ok? :-/

Why would I want you to do that? You're one more person to hear my pissing and moaning. I can always use another sympathetic ear, and you certainly are a cool person.

I felt really bad about it, but finally I was like, I'm just going to do it. And I like my friends page much better now. I don't have to scroll past some entries that I wouldn't comment on or read and stuff. It's worth it. Hopefully they don't think too badly of me. I wouldn't do it if I thought the person would be devastated.
