Second week of school. . .

whoo. I just finished writing, with my own little paws, on paper with a pen, 3.75 pages on what has made me happy over the past year. XD Our english teacher gave us 7 questions to answer, and since it was optional, that was the only one I did. The others were mostly about Sept 11. And there was one on what has made you sad over the past year. Not something I wish to dwell on. Either of them, really.

Anyway, much of my list involved you guys :) My friends have really made me happy over the past year. Thank you. Muchly. I used to hear people say that their friends are one of the most important things in their lives, and you know, I never really felt that way (except about Katie. And it's possible that I would have noticed them when they were gone, and I just didn't understand how important they were to me) but now my friends are such a large part of what makes me happy. :D I love you guys! ;)

I could have gone on a lot more, but my hand was tired and I don't think the teacher would really want to hear any more ;)

She also gave us an awesome assignment: to write a resume for a hero! The example given was superman, and we're allowed to do any hero we want--including superheroes!! So, of course, I'm doing The Flash :D (this is barry-flash). Only problem is, I really want to do a spectacular job on this (to show the class full of non-comics fans. I always seem to end up with idiotic english classes. Ah well--at least this time all the morons are on the other side of the room from me.) and I want to look up where Barry went to school and other details. And I cannot find my Life Story of the Flash!! I always take very good care of it, so it should be safe--I just don't know where it is! I mean, if I can't find it I can do the assignment with out it and all.

I already said that we spoke to my AP Euro teacher and she said I was the only 5? that was Friday. . . so yes. ok. I haven't been updating a lot. I have, however, been keeping up with my work and all.

Academons starts friday! :D

Thursday is Act Like Francine Day. I'm going to have to figure out how I'm going to do this. . .


edit: I forgot 2 things.
1: The big highlight of my life over the last couple of days is that mom brought home The Robbery at the Diamond Dog Diner by Eileen Christelow. :D YAY!! Neither me nor Katie can remember where we had ran into this before. Must have been something in our youth because we were both so excited and happy to see it! I enjoyed it immensely :D
2: Today we wrote down our nominees for the "prince and princess" (junior versions of homecoming king and queen). Two of you were nominated. I just thought you should know XD (no, I'm not telling which two)

When I told my dad this he said all I did was waste someone's time and I didn't get anything out of it. Well, I had got a lot of amusement out of it (last year I nominated 2 GW characters). . . until he was so snarky! And I don't think I wasted someone's time. I mean, all it's going to be is a pair of nominees that no one else will have had (if someone else nominated the same people as me I will be very surprised). Anyway, he managed to take the amusement away. Not a nice thing to do.

edit #2: I went to neopets today. randomly. Then I decided to feed my pets. then I decided to buy more food. Then I ended up playing some games--turns out they work now. At least on the computer downstairs (OS X). This does not bode well for me trying to spend less time on the computer. XD (I also sold some stuff--all the expensive things got bought quickly!!)

What nifty assignments! Hmm, hmm, I don't remember anything that cool being assigned in high school. But then, I've blocked out a good portion of high school. Oh well.
