addition--good news for nice people :)
Sep. 4th, 2002 09:07 pmmini-update for something I've forgotten. Mr. P, who is the world's coolest teacher, who advises stage krough and is exceptionally nice, is adopting a baby! He and his wife have tried to have a child a couple times, and have had problems. His wife had a miscarriage last year. It's really awful cos he is an amazingly nice man. Sweet and funny and friendly and so nice.
But anyway, he's adopting a little girl from China, and he had pictures today!! I dont' have any classes with him (sadly. I was going to have Communications Systems with him, which seemed fantastically cool, but no room. Having the extra free period should be nice though.) but we saw him after school, in the music wing, and he showed us! :D She's so cute! I'm terrible at telling babies' ages though. Between 1 and 2 years, I'd say.
He's going to go to China at the end of October to get her. I believe he leaves on the 20th and he should be back by Halloween. :) He was supposed to have gotten her in August, but much to his disappointment, things were delayed on the other end. :-/
He's going to bring her into school :D yay!! ::bounces:: We all love Mr. P--his baby is going to get a lot of attention :)

The thing he'd do is, instead of swallowing right away, he'd store the food in his cheeks. They weren't sure if this was something he'd picked up at the orphanage, or if it was just a little quirk of his.
