Sep. 3rd, 2002 05:38 pmI'm feeling kind of depressed. Emily (sorry to Em--had to get this off my mind) is hanging out with a guy (at his house--I believe there are other people there) who is a certified asshole. I mean, me and Katie just realized that he is worse than Freddy Femur. O_O He's just as stupid as Freddy, and just as socially inept--but he's also extremely violent. He's kind of Freddy if Freddy was a video game nerd, but I dunno. He'd moved to Florida for a year or so, and then he came back. And I remembered him from P.A.G. as being nice enough, but quiet. So he was in my math class and I'd pass him in the halls and I was always nice to him--I smiled and said hi when I saw him and stuff. Then I found out that, behind my back, he was calling me a psychopath. O_O That had a lot to do with my bouts of insecurity. It's stayed with me.
Anyway. worrying.
but good things happening. I'm almost completely ready for school--bookbag all packed and stuff. I gotta shower and finish a bit of reading. And I set up my alarm clock--with my Princess Mononoke Soundtrack! :D I got it at the mall yesterday!! It rocks :)
Mike and another friend of his (and Emily's, I believe) came to the mall with us. Mike evidently also still thinks of me as a psychopath, cos he was very worried that I'd blow up at his friend. Hmm. I think he should have said something to the friend [whoa. my dad's cousin from paris just called. good thing my mom also picked up cos I couldn't understand what she was saying. ouch.] because the friend mocked us on a couple occasions and was purposefully putting his hand on my shoulder after I jumped (and banged my hand on the table) when Mike put his hand on my shoulder. But Mike didn't know I was ticklish, and friend (we call him by his last name so I'm just calling him friend) was deliberately trying to tickle me. ::sigh:: I behaved myself :-/ My past is attacking me >.<
Anyway, Mike was a complete sweetheart. He bought us all dinner at the food court--and he got it for us, too, so we just had to sit :D That was kinda weird. lol. But so very nice. And he got me and Katie the Evangelion movie! We haven't had a chance to watch it yet though.
Tomorrow we're meeting Perin and Emily and Perin's brother Freddy at Dunkin Donuts for breakfast at 7. :)
We wanted to get together today--since we haven't gotten to see Perin as much as I'd like since she got back, cos she still had her summer reading to do--but since Emily is at Tom's that might not happen. Her mother wants them to have dinner together for the last dinner of the summer. ::sigh:: Maybe after dinner. So I'm going to shower and do my reading now. Bye bye.
