cloudtrader is a goddess. Or if she's not, she should be. Wait. ::worships cloudtrader:: There. Now she is.
Giving someone an autographed copy of Sanctuary automatically makes you a goddess. That was amazing. It was soooo good! Crikes!! :D :D :D It make me euphoric for the rest of the day! Not only that but I felt extremely cathartic (sp?) reading about their fight. I recognized feelings that I've just been experiencing towards David, and then allowed me to let those feelings go. I feel much, much, much better! And this has helped me to be nicer. So. . . wow. :D I was reading it, and sometimes I would just lean back (I was sitting on my bed) and laugh, because it was just so good, and because I'm crazy :D I loved it. And it is so cool to open it up and see my name, written by Terry Moore! Terry Moore knows my name! XD
1a) Me and my mom both loved the little shopping bag :D And I loved the candy ;) The little gold-wrapped ones? I looked at them and I saw both cinnamon ones, and I thought they were all cinnamon. So of course, the first one I eat is a coffee (something more specific but I can't remember ;) and I don't look at the label. "Gee, this doesn't taste like cinnamon. It takes more like coffee! Yummy, though!" XD Then later I was looking at the other ones and I realized that it tasted like coffee because it was coffee.
2) i'll get to that in a friends only post in just a moment.
3) I've redesigned my journal. I think I'd like the background to be a little more yellow, or a bit paler or something, but I don't know the code for a color like that. Aside from this I'm pleased with it, and isn't the default picture pretty? It's from Murder Mysteries, by Neil Gaiman, and the art is by P. Craig Russell. It's the Silver City: where the angels live.
I've given credit for the rest of them on my user info. It's a bit more involved than usual (lots of links--annoying) cos I decided to specify icons rather than just listing the people who deserve credit.
These icons are fun. I've had a couple of sets (like, where they're all from one thing), and it's good to be back to randomness. I actually reused two of my Francine icons cos I just love them so much :D And I got to do a lot of pretty ones, which I haven't had in a while. Is good :D (I have a Kodama icon! I have a Kodama icon! ::dances::)
4) Am having an interesting time at Hot Threadz Forum because I'm one of three girls. XD Feel free to come and check it out. it's very young.
5) Have you noticed that when several people are laughing, and one person stops and does that little sigh-ish thing when they finish, it'll just set you off again? That kept me and Katie and David laughing for a fairly long time the other day. First David kept doing it, so I pointed it out and then that started us laughing again, and then me and Katie each took our turns at making the noise, which both set us off doubly, and then I stuck my head under the couch cushions. (they're the kind that are attached to the top of the couch and flop down.) We laughed some more.
6) David is making interesting noises. This is because he doesn't know anything about color-coordination, so he's contributing to the redesign efforts by making interesting noises.
7) We went to IKEA today for dinner and hangers and to wander around. We went to the toy section and there was this bin full of cute little bears. We turned them all so that they were facing the same direction. It was like a crowd. Very cute. Only then we wanted to buy one and it took us about 15 minutes to choose which one to get. His name is Petey.
