I was going to post a couple days ago saying that I thought I was getting into Led Zeppelin, but I didn't. So now you don't get the full flow and growth of the fascination when I now post, and say that I'm obsessed with them!

Oh man. I'm listening to them all the time. I've been having a fantastic time at http://www.songfacts.com as well. Great site!

I have 40 Zep songs. I had three, and then my brother had a few (and his music is on my computer), and David gave me a whole bunch, and then I contacted someone who's on the smith filesharing iTunes network thing, and she sent me a couple more that I really wanted but were from albums that I wasn't going to buy (because I had most of the songs already or because I wasn't interested in enough of the songs.) I am, however, going to go to the record store and buy myself Houses of the Holy as soon as there's nice enough weather to do so. I must have The Crunge! And D'Yer Mak'er! (the two "joke" songs--what does that say about my taste?) I like almost all the songs on that album. Except for No Quarter, which I can't say I'm a fan of. I do have The Song Remains the Same already, which is good. :)

I've also just gotten started on the "look for pictures" phase of the obsession. Robert Plant pretty!

I need to rewatch Almost Famous now that I'll get more of the references (and songs). I get the impression that Cameron Crowe is a pretty big Zep fan. Which makes sense, because they're too good not to be a fan of. Except for, like, all the people I know.

Oh, they rock so much!!

In other music related news, Corey and I went shopping on Saturday and it was a great deal of fun. We went to Dynamite Records, because I'd been looking at all these album covers from the 70s and wanted to see if they had any. Their Zep collection was pitiful, but they did have Led Zeppelin III, so I toyed around spinning the little wheel for a while.

Then I checked The Band section, and they had the records (vinyl, all this is) of The Last Waltz!! For $20. So I bought it. And it's so goddamn cool! ::bounces::

Corey also got the Sting soundtrack for $1.00, mostly for the cover art. Although she did play the record on her radio show Sunday morning! But anyway, now we have a third picture of Robert Redford and Paul Newman hanging on our wall. Go us!!

In less cool news, it's snowing a lot. And I have two religion presentations in the two religion classes on Thursday. So I'm meeting one group at the campus center at 5:30, and the other group at Tyler house at 6:45. O_O Waaaaah!

I also have a fair amount of reading to do for religion tomorrow. Which I should have been doing now instead of looking for pictures of Robert Plant ;)

This morning Katie and Alli and David came to visit!! WOOO! They were on their way to Vermont for their Feb. break. It was a lot of fun. I'm always happy to see Katie.

There was also a booth sale in the campus center this morning--I bought myself three boxes of Tagalongs. :D Yay!

And now my hands are cold. So I will stop
