Hola! Not that I speak Spanish. . .

Really good day at Bethpage today! :D I was in Benjamin house, and I just really really enjoyed interpreting it. Like, usually I'm more than happy to let someone else take the next bunch, but this time I was like "oooh! Let me do this group!" XD It was great. I think I did a really good job. Like, everyone got a good interpretation, I didn't skimp on anyone. I actually followed one group into the house, they'd tried to walk past me, and made them listen. XD Ah well. lol. There's also wool carding in the kitchen, so everyone was really interested and the kids liked it and all. Plus, I was with Julia, which was great. Whee! Gladys came in later, which was, uhm, well. She's just a little senile. . . But she left an hour early, also. 2-4 we had to share the house with her. But it was very busy at that point. Actually, through almost that whole time we were constantly busy. No breaks--people just kept coming! 350 people today, I believe. There was some Heritage Awards thing going on at the fairgrounds.

Also, I had 4 personal visitors ;) Dad surprised me. I was teaching some kids to card wool and I saw him look in the door to the kitchen and I just stopped in the middle of my sentence and said "oh!!". Which was strange for me. I don't get surprised that often and I don't show it that much if I do. lol. Anyway, also visiting were Katie, Perin and Perin's sister Zenobia. So, as I mentioned before, it was really busy, so I couldn't talk to them for long. But they came back later and I gave them the spiel and everything. It was very awesome. :)

Also drew Julia, Dad, and Mom today. I hate not being able to erase XD All three of them are kind of deformed. We shall see.

Anyway, just want to reiterate what a great time I had interpreting Benjamin. Very cool.

Come to think of it, there is some other news. So, in other news. . . I am having Safety School Issues. I cannot find a safety school I like. I do not want a party school. I want a place where I can find other like-minded, nerdy people. I also want a place where I can get a good education. And I do not want my college to be anything like my high school!! Well, maybe it could have, uhm. . . 4 of the teachers. But aside from that. . . ;) Anyway, I can't find a safety school that doesn't, uhm, not fall into one or more of these categories. Wait. . . doesn't. . . ehh. . . you know what I mean. But at the same time, I don't want to be cocky and just do the SUNY thing and then get kind of stuck because I don't get into any of my first choice schools. ::whines:: ugh. Am stuck.
