Hello. Damn I'm cold. It is cold. It's like, New Hampshire in summer cold. New York in summer doesn't have this kind of morning. ::shivers:: New York in summer is warm all the way through. Which is why I've been wearing pants to school every day. But that's a good thing because I want to wear pants to my yearbook picture, because I want to wear a cool shirt that won't go with any skirts, and definitely won't go with shorts.

Yesterday, something totally awesome happened to me. I watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Wow. O_O It rocked! They rocked! Paul Newman and Robert Redford now have stolen my soul from Jack Sparrow. That movie is just the coolest thing ever. I mean, they're so cool--not just in the nifty sense of the word, in the, like, "I'm cool, I'm chilling" sense of the word. Totally. Awesome. :D I'm going to be talking about that movie allllll day! lol. Also, "Sundance" is the fucking coolest name ever. When you hear it about the film festival it doesn't sound as cool. It's sounds like the festival is named after a place, that's called Sundance but then you get there and it's all full of gray buildings and is all ugly. But when you see Robert Redford getting called Sundance. . . whoa. Just. . . whoa. I love Woodcock, too. XD

So, what I have to do this week. Spend two hours on a sketchbook assignment. Read a newspaper article and do a 4-paragraph write-up. Write an essay on my summer reading for english. Go visit colleges, although I don't know which/if any I want to visit. Do english project. (these are spread out in due dates--friday, weekend, monday, tuesday. still.)
I think that there are at least two of those that I'm going to get started on tonight, if all goes according to plan. Good to get started early on that sort of thing ;)

Need heavier blankets! Woke up early because of cold. Still, I'm just glad it's not hot. Still no air conditioning in the music office.

Susan brought in her Italian relative/friend person who's been staying with them for a month yesterday. Her name is Maria Pia. I love that name--but I'm not sure if it's her first and last or her first and middle or what. Anyway, after school Susan had to audition for the musical, so I sat with Maria Pia in the office. And then when she said good-bye we hugged. . . and then she threw me for a loop by kissing me on both cheeks. Lol. I guess I forgot all my training in France.

My mom has drank vodka two times in her life. Once was in Russia with Russian boys who got in trouble for dealing with the corrupting influence of a small group of American young women. XD (this was during the 70s, I think.) I can't remember when the other vodka experience was.

In other news, I've begun to think in French a disturbing amount of the time.
