1. I saw The Two Towers yesterday!! I loved it!! I got really worked up :) I've started to get really into movies lately. I need to do some thinking on this. But there was one part where I was crying, and even now I do not cry easily at movies. There weren't really tears running down my face, but there would have been if I was in the privacy of my own home. As it was, I actually sobbed once or twice! O_O (then I noticed Petey looking at me funny. lol.) I actually tried to restrain myself because I knew there were other people there, and I didn't want to be too disctracting to Perin and Petey, who were sitting on either side of me. But, uhm. . . I got kinda distracted there, didn't I? Two Towers was incredible. I'm going to go see it with my parents at some point, and then at least once more after that (I try to be thrifty and $8.75 is too much for me to see it too many times close together.) I can't wait until the extended DVD comes out! I've heard there's a DVD in July or something, but the extended one isn't til November. I don't know how accurate the source or my memory is, though.

2. SQUEEEEEEEE! lol. We were watching Dharma and Greg on friday, cos we came over here for dinner and it was on (the movie was 8-11, so we went to dave's house to play some gabe--more on that later), and luckily Perin remembered and asked if we could watch it. . . I owe her big for that! Because they showed an ad for the show that's going to be airing on Monday--and it's the one that k.d. lang guest stars in!! I'm so utterly excited. Definitely taping that!!! O_O (i'm using a lot of exclamation points in this entry. . . soz) I mean, just seeing her in the ad had me grinning and giggling uncontrollably for like, an hour afterwards! I'd heard that she guest starred in an episode of Dharma & Greg, and I was like, "oooh, I watch that show!" but I don't know--I didn't expect to see the episode. :D I'm very excited.

3. Speaking of giggling uncontrollably, I got Katie and David to watch RUDY with me again! The ending always leaves me feeling completely euphoric. What a fantastic movie. Katie was more interested in Sean Astin's cuteness, I'm afraid. lol. Ah well. They don't need to love it :) lol. I'm definitely buying that one though (we'd taken it out of the library). And I'm also buying the Goonies, which they don't have at the library. That's a great movie--also starring Sean Astin, only when he was younger. Have I mentioned that I was completely dumbstruck when I was looking at the IMDB (http://www.imdb.com) pages for cast members of LOTR and I saw that Sean Astin was in the Goonies--and Mikey, no less! I died. lol. Mikey's my favorite ;) So I'm going to buy those two movies and then have a Sean Astin Film Fest ;) Actually, watching the Goonies and then watching RUDY might kill me. But I'd die so, so happy. Happied to death. Certainly the best way to go. lol. I taped an interview of Sean Astin on Conan O'Brien last night, and the audience chanted "Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!" :D w00t!! It was great. But I was really jealous. Sometime in my life I want to chant Rudy at Sean Astin. XD

4. Me and Katie went to David's house this afternoon after watching RUDY (note the smooth transitions in this entry!) and we finished playing Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within. It was great (we had the last chapter to do) except. . . gyaah! The last big video that's the whole opera scene (for anyone familiar with the game?) with the wolves and everything was not working! So we basically skipped from Gabe in the dressing room to the last chase thing in the basement. It was great though. It's a very fascinating game. Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers is still my favorite (we're going to play Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned, later this year. . . maybe in May when David gets home for the summer) but I really loved all the facinating stuff with Ludwig II--all the more fascinating because most of it is very, very close to the truth. And I loved the way everything kinda slowly unfolded. The plot would get thicker and thicker, and we'd get more and more information, so first new mysteries would be raised, and old ones would be solved--it was really really cool and very interesting. I enjoyed the game immensely. I also found it fascinating the way everything was like a movie. I missed Tim Curry, and I really loved the style of Sins of the Fathers, but this Gabe was sexy too :) And so was Grace! Oh, and me and Katie absolutely loved Ubergrau, our lawyer. He's such a sweetie! And so helpful! And has such a sexy secretary, with her red stockings! ;)

5. I've yet to do any homework this weekend. XD lol. Ah well. I'm enjoying myself.

6. I've been using OS X. So far, so good. Dad says he can fix it so the back and forward mouse buttons work, and hopefully he'll be able to help me iron out my RealPlayer and Graphic Converter problems. Aside from that it's good. I'd been having some problems with OS 9 (i think 9.2, actually. . . but I'm not sure) and Dad has really wanted me to use OS X. It's ok. I miss the old one though. :-/ It's an adjustment. I spent a while today transferring mp3s around in iTunes.
