relena-assembly-david's knowledge part II
Apr. 18th, 2002 03:56 pm::pats self on back:: I've realized I no longer like Relena-bashing fics anymore. Good cos I'm not a hypocrite, what I hate more than a lot of things, and good cos it's just not nice. (actually, my hate of hypocrisy is stronger than my will-power, and has kept me from doing things i've criticized in others more effectively than my conscience. so that's good.) anyway, lately I've been liking fics where Relena is there, but even if she is chasing heero around, she's not being evil, just kinda deluded and love-struck. Like this one, she's an assassin too, and Heero values her as a friend and as a partner cos she's a competent assassin. (some relena bashers are still funny though)
did have gym today! yay! and double yay cos the reason I didn't have gym was cos of a very cool assembly about drugs, which I actually think may have been effective. the guy was really in touch with popular culture type of stuff, and he used to be a druggie--he was homeless for a year, he ran out of money and had to become a dealer, he got all sorts of problems because of drugs and alcohol, and he's been clean for 8 years now. And I mean, there are kids in my school who are way beyond help (he was saying how he knows some kids are gonna leave the assembly and discuss it over a joint) but I do actually think his thing was effective. and it was very good. Except that my neck got tired and I was already feeling a little low. XP need sleep.
not much else of interest for today. David came out and taught us a little more at lunch. we finished American Literature and were doing some classical composers. I think Katie and Dave worked a little more on them after school, but I decided to go straight home. After removing my bra in the girls room and putting it in my bookbag. it was just too damn sticky and sweaty and annoying. And then I went home and had ice cream. yummy.
Oh. Today was supposed to be Mike's day in court (witness, not defendant). See? http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=guingel&itemid=41314
It sounds like I wasn't upset because I put it at the bottom, but that's because I found out while I was writing the entry. it was very scary. But anyway, the guy pled (pleaded) guilty, so Mike doesn't have to testify. whew.
ok. that's all. ::has found her way back to Asian Chick:: offensive people left. (ok, so it's not all--I lied) Does anyone know if there's a record for the most pages a single post has been at a forum? cos we're at 34 pages. I have like, 950 posts at that place and I don't even go there anymore--I've been third in rank on the member list (in terms of posts) and I left like, months ago. I only post on that one thing because I can't let Asian Chick die! Although if the annoying people come back, I just leave again. lol.
