I watched some competitive cheerleading on ESPN today. It was fun! The dude cheerleaders are HUGE. Some of them are REALLY HUGE. The hip hop dance competition was horrible, though. I was literally covering my face with embarrassment. Th-they tried to look angry and edgy.

So now I'm watching Grease!

Also I have a new roommate! Except after she moved in around 1 yesterday (Katie and I helped carry stuff) she took the van back out on Long Island and didn't get back til around 9. And then at 9 this morning she left for work and won't be getting back til 11. So, you know, I get to ease into the whole thing slowly! So far so good, though. She's been very laid-back about everything and I'm trying to be helpful and welcoming.

Um, yeah, not much else to report. Oh, yeah, I'm sick! Faintly. The inside of my head is clogged, I've got a fever and I keep getting headaches. Friday was the worst, I considered leaving work but I was supposed to meet Katie after work and we were gonna get dinner with dad and then she came over. I felt like if I left work early it would be like saying I wasn't healthy enough to have Katie over. Also I felt shitty after waking up from napping on Thursday (after waiting for my adorable couch to be delivered) so I was afraid to sleep during the day again anyway and figured I might as well stay at work. Luckily it turned out good! Katie and I were still able to have a lovely time Friday night and also on Saturday, we watched Dead End, one of our favorite episodes of Angel, and Window of Opportunity, one of our favorite episodes of Stargate SG-1. We also watched excellent eps of Gakkou e Ikou and DASH. :D It was delightful!

Oh, and I bought Mighty Ducks I and II. XP

I also was able to remember the name of Club Salsa drama, it came to me in a flash after a day of only being able to remember that it involves black chilies, monkeys, virtual reality and some sort of king. And a thug who says, "My immediate authority figure would like a word in your shell-like."

I owe people emails and other responses. Why do I hate emailing so much? I SERIOUSLY need to get on that. I also need to do laundry. But, uh, I'm sick?

Oh hey, I was watching Grease at around the same time today.

You're sick? Shitty McShit. ): But I'm glad you had fun regardless! And you bought Mighty Ducks!!! :DDDD One AND two?! ROCK! Hopefully your sickliness doesn't get worse though. Eat zinc! Just giant bricks of zinc.

I've been staying on the University of Delaware campus all weekend, but when I was home for a hot minute I looked for the yokohina stuff. ..I did not find it. I'm not sure if my bed ate it? Anyway, I'm- oh hey, the Oscars. Or pre-oscars? Whatever, they're showing The Boy From Oz and it's fantastic. I'll still be in DE tomorrow, so if I stop by my house again I'll look for the yokohina stuff again. Feel better!

On ABC family? Man, their commercials are annoying.

I don't have zinc bricks, sadly, but I did take large multivitamins! They must have zinc in them, they had everything else. I'm drinking coffee now, though. That's bad, right?

Oh well, it's ok. I will survive without YokoHina-age. The important thing is that you brought me Angel season 5. I have gotten far more delight from that!

Waaaaaaaah I wanna see Boy from Oz. Damn. I missed that. D:

I was sick for over a week, and took 2 half-days at work. It's ok, really.

Actually, I should say right now, if this whole comment is illegible and nonsensical, I have been drinking a bit...

I think Mighty Ducks I and II is a solid investment. Mighty Ducks III... it's not so good. But you may still want to watch it! And I've always maintained that watching cheerleading is fun. No one believes when I say things are good. Like High School Musical (which I tried, on several occasions, to get Corey to watch junior year. She was very much against it, though). I never told you how much I love HSM, did I? I really love it. I just watched the third one. Now I'm blabbing on and wasting your comment space. Love you, Jimmy!

It totally never worked right for me to take off sick, cos either I had meetings that I had to go to, or it was the days when my roomie was at home and she just moved in and has to be gone a lot, so I figured I should give her those chances to chill.

Yeah, my MD I & II tapes from when it aired on TV in, like, 1997. . . all worn out. I definitely needed to own it on DVD!

I'm not sure if I can imagine Corey getting into HSM. And no, I'm not sure you did mention how much you love it! I will watch it with you when you're here. . . except I don't have it. >.> The second one is my favorite because I love Ryan and it has the most Ryan. Oooh, did you see my re-write of HSM?
