On the subject of what people are saying, actually, what is Ken saying here? I couldn't get the first character to appear so I couldn't even put it in a translator. XD



Edit: I have been told that Ken is shouting "I want to protect you!" This is upon seeing the person I nicknamed tiny josou. :D (cap from the recap section of a different episode.)

Ken's saying "Mamoritee!!", which I assume is the less polite version of "Mamoritai" (I want to protect [you]). No idea why because I didn't watch the clip, but that's what the subtitle says.

It's scary sometimes how good Japanese boys are at looking like girls. Ken's face isn't all that girly, but the rest of him works, and some of the other people on this segment...

FAAAAAAAASCINATING. That isn't actually in either of the clips I uploaded, it's from yet another segment with a super adorable, pretty little person. I've got a cap, dang, I meant to upload it to include with that other cap. Haha, I thought Ken was going to turn out to be saying something like "Unbelievable" or whatever. Hahahaha, sweetness.

Yeah, even to the end of Nobuta wo Produce I was mistaking Kamenashi for a girl. Now I find him hideous but at the time I thought he was quite pretty. XD

The Josou segment is part incredibly fascinating and entertaining and part worrying. The guys seem to be having fun with it, though, pretty much. XD

Yeah, I've watched some of this before, and also the one where they prank the members of Arashi by sending these "girls" in as make-up people/reporters/etc. They're really remarkably convincing, some even in the way they carry themselves and their voices and everything. It is fascinating, but also rather strange if you think about it too hard.

Kame's pretty girly looking sometimes, though somehow he seems to get stuck crossdressing less often than other people. What's really weird is when people you wouldn't expect it of make good girls (like, say, Hina in his bikini XD).

They are convincing! XD That is a good point - Sometimes they're uncomfortable in the heels, and they don't like the eye make-up, but their carriage is pretty convincing, even before they got lessons in how to walk on the runway.

You know, they say "We're looking for anything manly in him, right?" in one of the subbed episodes. Man, even when I can see a strong jawline or their face looks manly, they themselves. . . I really just can't see them as guys. XD

Yeah, I guess it's less funny or more awkward or something if they actually look good when they cross-dress, because the bigger, manlier people tend to cross-dress a lot more, I think. I've only seen Ken cross-dressing twice. ::sigh:: Two magnificent times, though. :D

Josou Paradise is amazing - although GeI really became "Josou with a few other things" by the end. I wish they'd come up with this segment earlier so we could have had lots of it distributed throughout. And more Kentaro-kun. XD

I loooooove Kentaro-kun and I also love kimono guy, who I find someone quite manly, yet still totally hot and convincing - it's like an inner manliness? And I love tall guy that Mino was into, even though he was only hot in his first appearance, he's just so cute! And then I like the last one from when Nino was on, who came into the game too late to do loads of stuff with the others but who was amazing anyway.

I like Kumamoto-kun all right, but I don't like Mino-san, so I guess his attraction for him kind of turned me off him. :/

I've been working on translating an episode since I got home this summer. It's OK; I realize en-chan is the only one that actually reads my ongoing subs list... :/

(Also, yeah, they had a few incredibly pointless guests on this segment. Really, really annoying. Possibly the same woman, not sure. XD)

Um, Kentaro-kun was on the next episode, where they take the Josous out on the town - have you seen it? Inocchi and Nagano are the V6 reps and they're like "Oh, Kentaro-kun, we're sorry Sakamoto isn't here!" And he says something like "Oh, it's ok, I like Nagano (more/too)" At least, I'm pretty sure that's what they're saying. XD

Wheee! The Kentarou-kun episode! *___* Thanks, I hadn't seen that one yet, and I'd been dying to. ^-^ Kentarou is really amazing - though honestly, if they were to follow up on the guys and told us that Kentarou had a sex-change, I wouldn't be surprised AT ALL, because he didn't only look like a girl, he also absolutely acted like one, without ever seeming as if he was pretendiing. That's pretty astounding, really.
(Also is it bad that I melt every time I hear his small "Kentarou desu..." voice? He's just too cute! *___*)


Speaking of cute, so is Ken, though I think they should have used another wig. This one makes his face look really angular, in a way. ^^" (But then I feel like the wigs they use on half of these boys don't fit all that well. For the Arashi-prank, for example, they either ditched them or used other ones for the three boys, and I think they look even more girly.)

I wouldn't at all be surprised if we found out Kentaro-kun was dating Jun. :D There was some serious chemistry. But yeah, he's into it, just doesn't even feel like he's trying. He seems totally, totally comfortable.

And oh my god, you are not the only one melting at Kentaro-kun. :D :D :D :D I don't know if it's bad or not, though. . . XD Um, in the fashion show. Um. Nevermind. >.>

I find the wigs quite hit or miss. I'm not sure how I feel about Kentaro-kun's wig in the Arashi prank, actually. But tall Josou, the wig they used on the show was quite nice and the wig they used when he was out and about was wretched. Forget suiting him or not, it was horrible - like a weird raggedy mullet. I like Ken's wig, though, I think it suits the character. I think the hair over his face is probably serving a valuable purpose, even if it does make him look angular.

So every time I know I'm going to have a long boring day I have a set fan-ficcy sort of daydream that I pick up when I have a free moment (I've gotten really good at snapping back to attention without looking like I've been anywhere else;). And the day you posted this the fantasy was how Sakamoto and Kentaro would start gradually start dating after shooting is over <3 Well, it gets me through the day.
I like the piano kid, too.
I found it funny how they have them all flirt with Sakamoto in this section and in the Osaka special they play up the Papa vibe. Even though there's only two or three years difference.

Johnnys have the most interesting reactions to cross-dressing. There's a translation with KimuTaku where he says things like, "If I’m not pretty I feel like I can’t stand it" and "This is advice I can give to guys because I’ve had experience dressing as a woman" and has opinions on panty hose and high heels and mini-skirts. I just wish more boys I knew would be that laid-back.

Ahhh, I try to do that sort of thing but I fail, I get too distracted. But I have to say, I would be daydreaming about Kentaro and Jun starting to date, and Sakamoto and Ken dating. Or hooking up. Whatever. :D

Osaka special. . . refresh my memory? I feel like I must know what you're talking about but never think of it as the Osaka special so I can't remember what was done or with whom.

Also where is this KimuTaku translation? :D :D :D It disturbs me how genuinely likeable he can be. Someone that hot shouldn't also be sort of charming. Only TOKIO members can do that.

I've gotten better at concentrating. ;P When I was little I would always invent an imaginary friend, and then feel terrible when I realized I'd forgotten where they were and sat on them.

I just made up calling it that. The one on June 3rd, 2008 where Okada and Sakamoto go to a girls' school in Osaka. Just realized the boys in that were all Junior High which makes me glad they didn't perve over them since those could be my students. D: But there is the adorablest half kid.
