A lot of stuff, I'm sitting on my bed facing a messy room. But let's see, desktop computer, snoopy doll from my brother, dresser, photo of tiny!Laura with her grandpa, hyde poster from ayamachi, DVDs (the ones I can identify are RUDY, Horatio Hornblower, BTVS, Stargate SG-1 and Macgyver), Strangers in Paradise pocket books, lots and lots of dirty clothes, TOKIO plushies.

How do you style your hair?
I. . . brush it when it's wet and then let it do it's curly, crazy thing? I've been wearing pollyannas a lot lately, which I then twist up. Otherwise I braid it or wear it in a bun at the nape of my neck.

What are you wearing now?
Um. OK, so I don't do this often, but I'm home alone right now so I'm wearing a cardigan, a sundress, and thigh-high stockings. I knooooooow it's totally not me but today it is.

Do you have some sort of secret superpower?
Good memory for trivia? I totally thought of something at work that I'm actually really good at and I can't remember what it was. Damn! I. . . take responsibility when I make mistakes, and I prepare for meetings well and I ask questions if I'm not sure about something rather than messing it up. . . there was something I was actually skillful at though, I think. XD

What's the last thing you read/are currently reading?
I am listening to the audiobook of A Wrinkle In Time, read my Madeleine L'Engle! A Smithie! :D She is so awesome and the book is as amazing as I remembered. Annnnd I just started reading Know-It-All, by A. J. Jacobs. My boss leant it to me. ^_^ It's really funny, it's about him reading the encyclopedia.

Do you nap a lot?
I was going to say that I don't, but only because I work all the time, and if I'm not working I'm napping hardcore. But then I realized that I nap on the subway a lot, so, yes!

What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
Narnia/Skandar Keynes. Uh, in case you couldn't tell. Hey, if you're reading this, any thoughts about who it would be good to write genderbender fic about? Totally unrelated to the Narnia thing. Maybe? XD I like genderbender fanfic.

Hey, also, on the subject of the Narnia thing, there's a narnia_rpf thing. Usually I see RPS, but RPF makes sense. Except at work I deal with people who have contracts with the city of new york (in a really oblique way) so there's a lot of talk of RFPs. I didn't even know what that was but it's a whole thing - stands for Request for Proposals, the first step in a bidding process. Anyway, yeah. I can't see RPF without thinking of RFPs. Occupational hazard.

What was the last thing you ate today?
Noodles. I had broccoli and chicken and noodles for dinner and it took a little while to get to the noodles. If you wait a while it'll be hershey kisses, though.

What was the last thing you said aloud?
"OK, bye bye!" to Katie on the phone, I guess.

What websites do you always visit when you go online?
Livejournal, webcomics. . . uh, yeah. Other parts of livejournal? At work it's email, too.

Last thing you bought:
Coffee. I'm so metropolitan. But yeah, I brought lunch today, so it was the coffee. I owed my coffee guy a quarter since before christmas, cos I don't always go to him. I felt really bad about it so I gave him an extra dollar - the whole thing is ridiculous. XD He was like "here" and I was like "keep it" but I was too shy to say it was interest on the quarter he let me not pay a while ago so he thinks I was tipping him? Or something? Like a post-holiday tip, in which case a dollar is lame. And I'm not going to keep doing it. Apart from being cheap, it's so emasculating to have a tiny girl give you extra money. Or maybe that's what I always tell myself. I seriously think it's true, though. The guy at work that I owed $5 was like "pssssht, don't worry about it" when I finally got the courage to be like "oh, hey, I got your money!"

What are you listening to right now?
Hello Old Friend, by Eric Clapton. Clapton is my only friend right now, and when I say "my only friend" I don't mean it at all, but he's the only person who helped me not look like a moron this evening. Yay, Clapton.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
SUPERSPEED. Not that I've thought about this or anything, or am a ridiculously huge Flash fan. I wrote "Clash" there. Maybe I just like things that rhyme with lash? Hm. Um. Maybe not.

What is your favorite weather, and why?
Autumnal, crisp and breezy. It makes me feel really alive. I take out my hair and let it blow in the wind and just feel excited inside.

What's something you'd like to say to someone right now?
OK, I actually, to all my high school friends, I really just want to kind of say fuck you. You know, fuck you. The entire summer, you never had time to hang out with me but plenty of time to get together with each other? Whatever.

Maybe I can change the password of that account. . .

To be honest, I think the reason my mood is better on this entry is mostly that I felt like some of my answers were funny and I'm feeling quite witty. I mean, I guess to be fair, it's hard to talk about Requests for Proposals and not sound witty and hilarious. Anyway, I seem to have at least entertained myself!

It was just for fun - I'd taken a class on Paul (I was a religion major) with a really great teacher who had me pumped, plus it's possible that I was just a religion major because I like finding the funny parts of the Bible. >.> I want to write more just cos having two entries looks sad. XD Maybe I can figure this password situation out.

Ahahaha! yay! :D I should have known, I was wrong about everything yesterday. XD But this is good wrong - I'm glad that you have enough free time to be around and indulge in meme-doing. ^_^

I'm not sure if my streak of getting everything wrong is better or worse than my streak of the day before, where everywhere I went I was followed by lights turning off or just not working. Spooky!!

Monday is "Coming of Age" day here. I love Japan's excuse for any reason to have a holiday.

Ahh, streetlights always turn off when I walk by them! And my radio refuses to play anything but static unless I'm right next to it, like it has some sort of eletronic crush on me.

And on-topic of the other post, I hope you'll feel better soon and find a good roommate and have less money worries. :{

Hahaha, streetlights do that to me a lot - but it was also the lights where I was sitting in the subway car and the light in the hallway of my building right by the door to my apartment. XD Horrifying.
