Sephiroth is the main bad dude of Final Fantsy Seven :D His mother is a very scary genetic creation who he seems to have an.... odd relationship with, and he attempts to mow down cloud's (The main guy's) harem of laydeee friends :D

Um.... what else.... he likes burning things, killing people, destroying towns, is slightly insane, and wields a six foot katana sword named "masamune". (Same name as Auron's sword in FF10...Mmm....Aurrron) He hates Cloud, and tries to randomly gt his mother to kill Cloud and friends a lot. he used to be cloud's boss and idol, until he burnt down Cloud's mum's house when she was still inside, which um.... caused friction :D

He's the final guy you fight (I think), and is the hardest dude in the world, cos he supernovas the sun as an attack.

That was my "everything I know about Sephiroth in 60 seconds" speech XD

Uh I've been playing them for a year and I still get lost in the plot/character madness.

"Is is him that found out his sister was actually his time-controlling guardian? Or was he the one that was a genetic clone of himself and sworn to destroy the other half? Or was his father a giant whale?"

I think the same guy who designed Final Fantasy did the illustrations for that japanese illustrated sandman book. fun fact....

Hm, I really should *buy* it. I was okay just borrowing the sandman comics/books from Ian, but now I really REALLY need my own copies!

I have dolls house,season of mist, the two death books, his written novels (bar Coraline), and a signed comic, and that's it. And I've read 'em all to death. Wah..

awww! you're so deprived! you definitely need to buy the rest.

you've got a lot of my favorites though. season of mists, game of you, the wake, and then prolly dolls house and kindly ones. And the death books are fantastic. I read The Time of Your Life before I read Sandman. . . when I was 13. (cos I lent it to a friend in my social studies class that year) It was a very interesting experience. Sometimes I read something and it just like, really freaks me out--like, makes me feel cold and stuff. This felt, at the time, like it should have done that--it was so different from anything else I'd read, but I remember thinking that it felt strange and new, but good and cool.
