First night to myself in a long while was a rip roaring success! I watched cheesy youtube videos the whole time. Many thanks to ayamachi for listening to me enthuse about basically anyone who came into my head. :D Spot Conlon from Newsies, Jon Bon Jovi, Ryan from HSM, every single actor in the Chronicles of Narnia (totally not a pedo though), C.S. Lewis, all the musical numbers from Newsies, Oates of Hall & Oates (Hall too, in his own way), Marky Ramones' Queens accent, Chad from HSM sort of, the chocolate a friend got me from Paris (truffly beautifulness), char siu buns, my co-workers, Mokomichi, then we sort of got into the Scottish zone with James McAvoy, Ewan McGregor and Craig Ferguson (in a different way), and Morgan Freeman, and Hugh Jackman, and Alexis Denisof and his relationship with Alyson Hannigan, and, the most awesome person on this list: Julie Andrews.

Goooood times! Katie was saying I just need to watch some Girls Next Door to make it a big Laura's Guilty Pleasures fiesta. Julie Andrews isn't a guilty pleasure, of course. She is a proud pleasure. I was saying I really want to be her friend. Even more than Robert Plant - my friends and I used to have a joke that we would take Robert Plant out for ice cream. But Julie Andrews, man. How much classier and more awesome would everything be if I got to hang out with Julie Andrews? She's so dignified, yet warm. ::sigh::

It would be awesome! ^_^ Except not as awesome as going out to eat with Julie Andrews. Although I can be a somewhat sloppy eater and I bet I'd feel less awkward about that in front of Robert Plant than in front of Julie Andrews.

For the record I don't perv on tiny Ryo. He's just an adorable pipsqueak. Older Ryo with a big crush on Yoko is the best thing ever though. I think he's gotten over the crush, it makes me sad!

ARGH. I can't see!! I usually use my boss's window and she's talking to some exciting people and her door is shut. D: NATURE!!! ::grabby hands::

On the other hand, I got hit with hail on my way to the subway this morning so maybe I'm good on the nature front for now.

::blink:: I just realized, I mentioned the hail to someone at work and she was like "oh yeah, you come in earlier - I heard the hail this morning before I left." and I was like "yeah, yeah" but I just realized she came in at almost exactly the same time as me this morning. Presumably she's coming in from somewhere that was hail-free.

Sooooooo, I've broken free of Bon Jovi but now I just keep listening to Under Pressure. Which, by the way, was performed on "Any Dream Will Do," the BBC reality show casting Joseph.
