So it turns out that about a quarter of my flist is from not the U.S.! I didn't realize it was such a large proportion. And it's the quarter that posts the most so my flist currently consists of "Hey, way to go you guys!" With an implied "didn't think you had it in you!" That's ok, I didn't either. Even as the numbers came pouring in, I was having a hard time believing them - it seemed too good to be true, and I really actually sort of thought that people were too racist to elect a black president. But they're not!! YAAAAAAAY!! Unfortunately I was alone yesterday evening so it was a pretty quiet celebration. Also apparently I live in one of the most Republican neighborhoods of NYC (outside of Queens, at least). Which is apparently why lines were so short when I went to vote! :D It was fun and easy and exciting. My first time voting in a ballot booth! (as opposed to absentee ballot)
So that's good. I mean, I don't think Obama's going to be able to magically cure all evils but I think his election is a good sign and I think it's way better than the alternative and I think he does have good ideas and positions. I'm still having a hard time believing it's actually true! So amazing!
Anyway, in celebration, here's a picspam of things i uploaded the other day. Mostly random Arashi and V6 caps with a little TOKIO and, um. One picture of Hina. :D

Aiba abusing Nino on D no Arashi. Good times! ^_^ This is right after Nino slipped his hand inside Jun's jacket under the pretense of wiping his eyes. I capped it but it's not in this post. I've been making a lot of "nino is slutty" caps lately. :D
One of my favorite moments in a drama. XD So, just. . . bold. Higashiyama telling Go he isn't attractive. HARSH. Like, it's bad enough to be told you're funny-looking, but when it's Higashi doing it it's just like. . . BLAM. OUCH. (P.S. I love Go. :D)

I kind of can never get over how attractive Nagase is in this Love Love Aishiteru appearance. I never get sick of watching it. My god. (although it occasionally makes me bitter and confused about the fact that Kinki have more fans. D:)

More Mukodono 2003. I love Matsushita Yuki, and I love Shibugakitai, and I love random references to Shibugakitai (by the way, the host of Hanamaru Cafe? He was in Shibugakitai) and I love when they come together!
So that's good. Dude, that's awesome. I wish I could do that when I have nothing to do. I've been really busy and working late and what-not writing the Doing Business Certification Report - Phase 3 (http://www.nyccfb.info/PDF/doing_business/Doing_Business_Certification_Report_p3.pdf) but now that it's done (YAAAAAAAY) things are pretty relaxed. For just a leetle while, though. And just for me, my boss is still very busy. D:
