Johnny's Update: Ryo's Hair

So, i thought I was going to go to sleep, but then I watched the latest G no Arashi subbed from taijiprojectsub and it got me all pumped. And then I watched Ryo's Hanamaru Cafe appearance that newshfan just did.

I totally thought I was free of my unholy lust for Ryo. I. . . was wrong. But! I was totally right that he's hanging out with Yamapi all the time now. I knew I hadn't hallucinated that one!

But yeah. Oh my god. So, I love Hanamaru Cafe. I think that Hanamaru Cafe and Oshareism get the best interviews of any show. And Ryo is very panicky and likely to spill interesting things in his inability to say anything clever. But actually, all I can look at is his hair. The haircut is a little top-heavy, but WHATEVER. It's sooooo healthy-looking, oh my god. It looks so fine. It's shiny in a slightly different way from shiny hair usually is. . . just really smooth and pretty and soft and fine and healthy and oh my god. I want to run my fingers through it. And bury my face in it. And build a nest in it and live there forever.

He should take as good care of himself as he does of his hair, though. He's a skinny little bastard.

Him playing Nino's younger brother is still hilarious, if anyone was wondering. Nino pretty.

I'm just staring at the hair the whole time, seriously. I even looked at the hair of the kid who played young Ryo in the flashback, thinking he would also have beautiful silky hair. Ugh, Ryo. Why do you have such good hair? You've gone awry a couple times and as soon as the hair goes, your whole appearance falls apart (what the hell happened with the whole blond thing recently?) but most of the time, it looks thick and delicious and makes you look amazing. I want him to really shake his head around and set the strands moving. I sense they're arranged, though. In a sort of head-mushroom.

Oh, speaking of hair and weird compound words that I make up. Hina's chin-monkey!! You must have noticed it by now. It was thriving in the first episode of Canjani. I LOVE IT. I loved the face-pet (aka moustache) and I love the chin-monkey. I want them to team up!! Of course, I'm basically on board with anything Hina does.

Speaking of which, the Musekinin Hero performance on Music Station. HINA WAS THE HOTTEST ONE. THAT IS STRANGE. HINA. I MEAN, NOT THAT STRANGE, I KEEP INSISTING HE'S ACTUALLY HOT. WHY AM I STILL SHOUTING? Yes. Hina is a hottie. But it is rare that no one else in Kanjani8 manages to pull it together enough to be a little hotter (Yoko's hair is making me sad). I am willing to discuss Ohkura cos he TOTALLY DIDN'T ok yes he did look adorable. Not that I'm feeling conflicted or anything. But Hina! Dude! Looking SO GOOD these days. :D And cultivating a charming chin-monkey!

So, Kanjani8 are still pretty far down on my favorite groups list - mostly because of one particular member - but there's definitely a resurgence of interest. Mostly due to Recomen, which i love with an unnatural love.

I also started writing a Higashiyama pimp post. I have a really good opening line. But not enough pictures or anything. I've been trying to pull together media appearances of him in other things but. . . it's tough.

Life is proceeding in an acceptable fashion. Things are quiet at home, I've been up to lots, and work is excitingly busy attempting to certify the third and final stage of the Doing Business Database. My boss has been out a lot because of Jewish holidays and as I am the entire complement of our unit, I've decided to seize control and rename us the James Caird, as I may have mentioned before.

Speaking of which, I am planning to go as Shackleton for Halloween, with a gaggle of penguins, although the location is as yet undecided. If nothing comes up perhaps I will angle for all of us to pile into Corey's mom's studio apartment and give out candy. There is a possible parade but I hear the main parade is crazy and intense and therefore not really my scene.

This Sunday. . . tomorrow, I guess now. . . I'm going upstate to go canoeing with Charles! I'm really excited! I love fall and I love canoeing and I. . . I guess I like upstate? I'm looking forward to it. There should be pretty foliage and lots of fun times. And tomorrow night we're all meeting at my aunt's house because some relatives are visiting from Israel! Katie and I have realized that we need to be briefed on who they are and how they're related to us. I believe these might be the only surviving relatives of my dad's dad.

My mom continues to craft Continuity puzzles, which are crosswords with no blank spaces. They're loads of fun to do, to be able to discuss the clues with the creator and stuff. My mom is awesome.

Oh, and next weekend I'm hoping to go to Old Bethpage Village Restoration, to see their old timey Halloween festivities! I love fall :)

It was bugging me too. According to wikipedia, the Sprites speak their own language that the Color Kids can understand. So it's not that Twink is the only one who can talk, it's that he's the only one who can speak English. A gentleman and a scholar.

Also, I hate Starlite! His ego bubble needs to be deflated. And what's with everyone calling him a flying horse! HE DOESN'T FLY. He runs on a rainbow. Rainbow Brite needs a humble replacement horse. He's totally not as cool as he thinks he is.

Maybe it's part of a sort of. . . Sprite independence movement. Like, the Sprites don't need to learn english - the Color Kids can damn well learn to speak their language!

I actually am really amused by Starlite's obnoxiousness. Cos kids' shows are usually all "everyone's sooooo nice" and then they all just seem like Mary Sues. Especially magical horses. So I'm happy to see a magical horse that's actually a pain in the ass.

even though I'm pretty much over my K8 phase I will still forever love Ryo and his beautiful black hair ♥ when he did that blonde thing it was horrible and the damage the bleach did to his hair was so visible and painful to look at T_T

Curiously~ who is the one member of K8 that puts them so far down the list? XD

Aw I wish it was autumn here. I hate spring and stupid hayfever. And that nobody ever does Halloween lol

I'm mostly over my K8 phase except for my unholy love for Yoko and Hina. Especially Hina. :D But yeah, I can't stop being attracted to Ryo. Even though I think he probably is a huge dick, but not in the way that they try to make us think he's a huge dick.

To be honest, it's Yasu. I feel bad because I have friends who like him a lot, but I despise him. He's one of my least favorite members of JE. I hate seeing him in things, he ruins it for me. I find him so fake and distasteful.

That is so, so, so strange that you are in spring. ::mind boggles:: I'm so bad at remembering about the hempisphere difference - even when I was reading about Antarctica. It never seems real, somehow! I get hayfever in spring too. D: I like it anyway but not as much as I like autumn.

And yes, it is so sad how other countries don't do Halloween. It is my favorite holiday! Maybe! You should throw a Halloween party. It is very easy - combine lots of candy with people in costumes. And little plastic spiders if possible.

Haha, I haven't met anyone else who's really fond of the chin-monkey. I don't know. . . he certainly looks better without it but I still love it so much. XD

Right now even though I'm working, my sister isn't and she's checking things out for me and telling me what I need to download and what can be skipped. But soon, she's going to start working and then I'll have to pick up the slack. D: Mostly, though, I just adore Hanamaru Cafe, otherwise I haven't been keeping that close track on the publicity stuff. But I love Nino and Ryo's hair is hard to resist, so I'll probably end up sucked in.
