1) Smith College is a hotbed of plagues at the moment. First off, and most frightening, someone has TB. So we're all in a bit of an uproar. Someone in my house had to get tested but I'm assuming it turned out she didn't have it because then we all would have had to get tested and stuff. Second off, one of my closest friends has mono, which I've never had and really don't want. So basically, I'm trying not to be near anyone. XD Well, no. But I'm trying to take care of myself.

2) Except for last night, when I didn't sleep. Augh. Well, I slept, but I woke up at 5:30 and didn't really get back to sleep and I was like the living dead at work. But then I realized that once I started doing a really mindless task I could listen to a Penny Arcade podcast, and it was awesome. I had one I hadn't listened to before. They're so great! I just, you know, scared my co-workers a little with my random laughter. :D

Then I tried to take a nap in my 2 hours off, and the girl next door was clomping around in what must have been high heels and it was echoing very loudly in my room and keeping me awake. Sadditude.

3) What's with the girls on Shukudai-kun wearing huge sacks for shirts? They piss me off.

4) I thought i wouldn't have anything to do this weekend because now that I'm done with much of my work, all my friends are up to their necks in it. But, as it turns out, I'm going to two concerts! So that'll be fun. And I didn't do my math homework this week, so I have to catch up on that, and maybe get a few other things done. Plus, I have a little bit of TOKIO stuff I want to scan and upload. Tonight would be a good night for that if I'm not too sleepy.

edit: Nevermind! Am going to a concert tonight as well! Acapella concert, by my favorite of Smith's acapella groups. And I haven't been to any this semester, so I couldn't resist. And then after that I might go to an event a friend of mine is running (the girl who was clomping, actually) in which high level administrators read us children's books. Winnie-the-Pooh, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Where the Wild Things Are, Goodnight Moon. . . I also might not be able to resist, plus the friend will be happy if there's a good turnout.

5) Am finally getting caught up on Utahime and I totally love it! I really like pretty much all the characters, which is extremely rare for me. And I'm a little in love with Taro. And Suzu is so freaking hot. I love the period costumes, the little skirts and blouses. Plus, shiny hair. It's really charming, the whole show. Fun and enjoyable and good.

6) We did peer review of rough drafts in my seminar yesterday, and it was actually not too bad! I'd been freaking out about it for a while, but I went first, and I thought all the criticism was pretty much constructive, and my paper compared well to the others. Whew!

7) My appetite seems to be back, this makes me feel a lot better about the various diseases roaming campus. I've been monitoring my health very, very carefully!! Of course, last night's sleep deprivation isn't going to help anything. But yeah. The problem is I tend to get hungry after 11, and want a meal. So I might make myself some nice chicken noodle soup tonight. :D It's hard to motivate myself to go down the three flights to the kitchen. Even though I lived on the fourth floor as well my sophomore year - i was using a different stairs and it was easier. XD

8) How hot is Levon? ::points to icon:: Seriously hot. And I hear he has a big penis. :D

9) At work today, I remembered that the Smith College Alumnae Database would include our famous alums as well. It was sort of cool. Also, I found out by reading the mail returns to the class of 1933 that there are only 50 of them left! And at least 2 are missing! Sort of sad.
