I just got a call from good ol' Andy, at Arcadia University--I've been officially accepted into the Manchester University program. Oh, thank god. lol. I can't believe how long it's taken! But yay!! Now I don't have to completely revise my plans for next year. Wheeee!!

So now I need to get on top of all the other bits of the process--there's a number of post-acceptance forms, and visas, and plane tickets.

w00t! Ccongrats!!

So, you're UK-bound. Hopefully you'll have a great time. :)

So, what's the study-year going to entail?

thank you! perhaps I will see you sometime when over there!

but I'm not quite sure what you're asking. it's going to entail. . . studying? going to classes. . . attending university?

Basically, what courses will you be doing? Although I see you've already said you're not entirely sure yet.

Meeting up at some point would be cool, if it's arrangeable. Either way, hopefully you'll have a great time in the UK.

I am glad you got accepted... I have heard in work of some changes in Visa rules through home office... but dont think they affect you.

Hope you have a great time over here in the UK and if (heaven forbid) you end up towards London let us know (as unfortunately I can not currently afford train fare to Manchester) and would like a chance to meet and chat!

Also curious as to what your course will consist of.

i think much of my traveling will involve Paris, as that's where my sister and lots of my family is. but I think this will involve passing through London, so perhaps I will see you then sometime!

i'm not quite sure what my courses will be, actually, cos they just called me and told me that I'd gotten into some of them, but they didn't know about others, and told me that I'd gotten into some of the reserve courses that I put down just in case. so, i dunno.

hey, thanks! how are you doing? I actually had two dreams about high school the past couple nights, but now I don't remember what they were. they were actually good dreams, though, which is weird! And then last night i graduated in my subconscious and dreamed about college, and that one was really good--my super-cute German professor asked me out!

I was just thinking about our murals. art was so much fun that year! do you think our murals are up yet?

:D After hearing about your adventures, how could I resist? I actually almost went to Hamburg but then it turned out my German sucks. I figure I have a slightly better chance of understanding those around me in Manchester. . .

and hey, good to hear from you--i've sorta been keeping up with my friends list, but in a half-assed way. I'm part way through Ash: A Secret History, but now I'm reading from a volume with all three parts in it and I can't carry it anywhere, so going is slow.

Yeah, you say that now. They have crazy accents up there... XD

And A:aSH has four parts. oO; Well, technically it's all one book, but it got split into four for Americans and Germans. So the first thing you must buy when you get to England is a proper copy! :D

Actually, no - the first thing you must buy is REAL pie. And REAL cheese. Then buy REAL A:aSH. >XD

hmm. . . well, I'm fairly certain my volume has everything in it. I thought it was three in America. . .

I think the first thing I'm going to be buying is pens and paper. and bedding. and. . . all the other stuff i won't be able to carry with me. Oh dear.

What's real cheese? Dude, also, you're the one who needs to get real pie.

also, yes, I am going to be totally screwed on the accents. and no one will be able to understand me either--heck, Americans don't understand me. I talk too fast.

Aw, I really want to come and visit you in Manchester and feed you cheese and pie... XD

do it! I will be there all year! And I will bake you an apple pie or something. Except I've never made apple pie so it will probably go awry. I've made pie crust, though. It's actually sort of hard. I'll have to figure something else out.
