SAT IIs are over!! ::dances::

my mouth tastes really bad. ugh. (I just woke up from nap.)

Anyway, I took math, which went well, I think. Math IC, that is. XD I'm too dumb for IIC as of now, but that's ok. Anyway, I omitted 6 out of 50. And I should have omitted 7 but I had so much fun doing the problem I just had to keep the answer. . . even though I realized later that I used the wrong formula. XD lol. Well, I didn't know any others, and they only had conic pyramid on the sheet! (I needed cylinder, and I can't read.)
I think I could definitely get between 30 and 35 right. More if I'm lucky.

::looks at journal:: ::frowns:: no, I didn't make it a private post. . .
hmm.

Global did not go well. ugh. It was a lot of stuff that I didn't remember, and since I didn't have a review book I had really no idea at all what was on it (the teacher didn't even know if there was a test we could take after this course) and I didn't have time to study at any rate because my teachers are assholes. ::twitches:: (really)
So I ended up guessing a lot and putting whichever answer I liked best and whatever. I didn't leave any out. . . I don't know. I don't think I did well, unless I got really lucky.
But that's ok. I'm still glad I took it.

We went to see Godot again last night. . . and we're going again this evening. Last night it was still fantastic, but they did soooo many ad libs!! It was really hysterically funny, but I think it complicated the meaning even more. I couldn't figure out what Beckett wanted to tell us and what was just them being silly. And I have difficulty understanding it to begin with. (and I want to!) I mean, normally I hate symbolism with a passion but this is kinda cool. except that I feel anyone can interpret it so that it has meaning to them, which is sorta nifty, but I feel that if Beckett had something to say, or any author in fact, they should say it outright. Because otherwise their meaning will be misunderstood (more than otherwise). I dunno. . . I think that in my opinion, clarity is one of the most important qualities of a book/play/whatever.
Ben in particular was hamming it up, which worried me a little, because not only did his character get really lost, I felt that he was stealing the show from poor Rob, who did an incredible job, and did not muck things up. There were a lot of graduates there and they tend to favor Ben, who is in choir like they all used to be. :-/ Although Rob was in some productions last year (and wonderful in those too! I love Rob! :D) so maybe that'd help. He's just a quieter person than Ben, so I hope the latter doesn't steal the show from him.
Ben did come up and scream in my face at one point. lol. They kinda brought the audience into it a little (Ben also sat on Meghan's lap! lol!) and he's kinda examining their surroundings, and as he looks around he says something along the lines of "interesting prospects!" or something, and he decided to yell it in my face. which was fun. ;)

:: how jedi are you? ::

just thought I'd stick that in.
I like that result :) Qui-Gon is cool. And sexy.

My French oral went well, I think. I'm just glad to have it over with. I don't know if I got full credit, because I tend to repeat verbs, but I know I had enough clauses--I never really blanked out.
My situations were as follows.
First, I was at the airport and my flight was delayed. This one I had trouble thinking of what to say so I babbled and stumbled a fair bit. I asked her for my money back, and she said I couldn't have anything!! :O lol. But then I totally ran out of stuff (this was my last set of 2 clauses) so I started saying that I have a meeting. . . near the airport. . . soon after I land. . . that I can't go to now. Or something like that. When I think I repeat verbs I just add random babbly clauses. (I got lucky cos I could start that with some of our cheatish clauses: Excusez-moi, madame, mais j'ai une probleme. Which is "Excuse me, ma'am, but I have a problem." Rather than going right into the real stuff.)
My second clause was that I'd just gotten back from winter vacation and was telling my French teacher about it. (I guess they want situations where you'd really have to use French, cos I don't know why I'd be telling my French teacher about my winter vacation. . .) So I said I went to London and stayed in a cheap hotel, and I saw my cousin who is named Kate (and she is) and saw some historical sites. (I didn't know how to say this so I guessed "place historique" and apparently that's correct. whoo hoo!) And then she asked me how the weather was. (I wish she'd continued to ask about my cousins, people are so much easier to talk about!!) And I told her that it was nice and I went to the park. Well, then the conversation was over, I'd gotten all my stuff, but it looked like she was going to start talking again. She said, "No, you're done, I'm just wondering what you were doing at the park in London in winter." Ack!! That's when I realized it was winter vacation. Damn. This is how bad my memory is. Anyway, I didn't lose any credit, so that's all right.

We got our teams mapped out for the faculty challenge. We have 6 teams, so poor Katie has to be a captain!! She has a bad team (in terms of people she knows) but it's actually not too bad. lol. My team is good--Me, Aron, Lee, and Adam. Yay for Aron and Adam!! And Lee is very smart. :D whew. I hope we do ok.

I'll end it here. I hope it's not too long. XP

actually, I just want to say I'm worried about my brother. he's died his hair again and is behaving rather poorly. :-/ I wish I could do something. I realized that I hardly know him!! O_O That's so upsetting! I hope nothing happens to him because of his behavior. Or actually, I hope nothing happens to him in general. Oh dear.

hmm. . . there's an idea. . . I'll see if I can do it craftily. He gets mad when I talk about him to my friends--but it's my journal! And there's no one reading this that he'll meet. :D
