ok, I scanned something new. I actually have the original cross-hatching back (as opposed to the scratchboard) but I'm too tired to scan it now--I did my ink and wash. Which is quite large. And I had to scan it in three pieces and patch them together.
So it's slightly off, but that's ok, it's only a little around the eyes and the ears mucked up.
as you can imagine, I shrunk it a bit. Also, this is the picture that this idiot splashed ink on. So the inside of her mouth should definitely not be like that, it should be almost all teeth with just a little bit of black. ugh. DX it also makes the bottom lip look kinda deformed also.
and there's a couple little dots of ink in various places, but that's ok.
This was copied from a (tiny little) picture from a magazine, and I'm not sure who the picture was of.
I'm really quite proud of this. Except for the hair--it looked weird in the picture, and it looks weird here.
I'm also posting this one because I love it. It's really big though:
Merv Pumpkinhead!! :D These are pretty much copied from different places in Sandman, although I modified a couple (so he'd have the same clothes and roughly the same shaped head in all of them). This one was also too big to fit (my sketchbook is too big but most of my stuff doesn't go all the way to the edges) so in the bottom right, he's holding a wine glass, you just can't see it ;)
"This is Merv. This is Merv on drugs. This is Merv drunk. . ."
I like the top left one best. Go Jill Thompson!!
