feeling all healthy and happy

Today, I was kind of productive and not at all sick!! wooo! :D In the morning, well. I didn't go to church. shame on me. But not shame because I've sinned in the eyes of God or whatever it is that's bad when Christians don't go to church, shame because for my religion assignment I was supposed to visit the place twice, and I was like "well, I already have lots of observations and I can totally get three pages out of this. . ." and I hadn't spoken to Carly and I panicked about going alone because what if I messed up? And I didn't want to go.

But after that, I got stuff done! Corey and I went shopping and had breakfast at Hayfields, which is this totally awesome little place with seating on the upper level--and then the level above that. . . and the level above that. I went upstairs, cos Corey was like "there's more seating upstairs". And I went up, and then noticed another little staircase, and then another! It was soooo cute! And all wood and brick.

And I bought cool stuff, and we got presents for Corey's friend whose mom lost her job and isn't really going to have Christmas and is totally unexcited abou tit. And then it started snowing, so I was pretty sure we induced the snow with our Christmas spirit. :D

Anyway, eventually we came back, and then I went to the art library to look for periodicals in the basement! Woo for me doing work! Because. . . the girl that I have a crush on from my art class was down there! As I've told Katie, she wears construction boots and on one memorable occasion, suspenders! I've got a girls in suspenders fetish going on. And girls in boots. Mmmmm. . . Anyway. We actually talked!! And I wasn't a total idiot!

So, see? I did work, and I was rewarded.

Then I was exhausted and took a nap until dinner. ;) After dinner, Corey and I went to the campus center and I got a pint of Ben & Jerry's Phish Food ice cream. And one of the Sarahs came to help me eat it! And I can't tell her Sarah nickname because it's based on her last name, which is really cool. So people who know the Sarahs will know who it is. And if you are a Sarah, you'll know it's not you. Sarah hung out for a while. Apparently she was bored. I hope I didn't make things worse, but at least I gave her ice cream.

And now I'm talking to Carly, kinda. . . I may have screwed up the IM by trying to send her an image. >.<

And I might even do work! I've had a very unproductive weekend. ::sigh::
