soz for being a lazy ho with friends posts, things are insane here.

Today, my bookbag disappeared.

We went on our academons trip after first period.
wait. ibuprofen emergency.
OK. Uhm. So I show up in the commons and I need to go to the bathroom to change my pad (which I ended up leaving in all day. . . I am so bad about that!! I'm scared that I'll forget for a really long time and get an infection or something :-/) and I drop my bookbag on the floor. We get on the bus, and eventually I realize that I don't have my bookbag with me. gaah! when we get back I ask absolutely everyone. O_O ugh. i asked the security guards, and I asked this wack-job guy who hangs out (he was really nice and helpful) and then went to the main office and god knows where else. and nothing. And in the meantime, I'm freaking out because I think my sketchbook is in there, and I DO NOT want to redo it again. (it wasn't, thank heaven) So I can't hand in my social studies because it was in my bag and all, but I didn't get in trouble. whew. I had some stuff for French in my bookbag for a group assignment that was lost also, so I spoke to my french teacher and she was really nice about it, and said i could do it for Tuesday.
Luckily I had taken my chem storybook out of it and put it in my locker to make sure it didn't get squashed or anything, so me and Katie ran over to the 6th building to hand those in (since we weren't in class cos of the trip).
Then we head down to the music wing. (oh, I also asked some custodians if they'd seen it, and keep in mind that I'm a shy little person) As we're walking down the hall, a boy, Michael (cousin of some kids in my grade) asks if either of us is Laura ____. Well, he said my stuff was all over the boys bathroom!! O_O !!!!! Geez!! He helped me get it together and stuff, no one was in there. (he also apologized to me because someone hadn't flushed the toilet, which I thought was cute because it wasn't his fault.) oh my god. Well, everything was there. ok, not my pens. oooh, I just realized--my keys!! dammit. >.< shit. i spoke to my dad and he says we'll have to change the locks. oh well. Anyway, alll of my stuff was in there on the ground. it looked like he just shook the whole thing out. except that my pens weren't there. and maybe something I haven't thought of (the keys were clipped in so it makes sense that they wouldn't fall out.).
So all my stuff was there and I gathered it all up, and some of it was wet--my planner, for one, which is a pain, and my book of practice regents, oh well, and my great gatsby book was a bit damp, but whatever. Everything was there and ok. I got my books back and all. And most importantly, my sketchbook was at home. I'm never going to bring it to school again!!

so. what a day.

I'm so so relieved that I got my stuff back. :D

Geez! Did you ever find your keys? Glad you got everything else back. *hugs*

Oh, and I'm no gynecologist, but I think you can only get an infection from a tampon, not a pad... *shrug* At least, that's what my female friends say.

oops. you're right. I had to change my tampon--I wrote pad, for some reason that I can't figure out. i was wearing a pad, because eventually the tampon leaks, but I didn't have to change it, and that's not what I'm worried about. >.<

No, no keys. . . I forgot to mention that the bookbag itself was no where to be seen. either the person wanted a bookbag, or just dumped it somewhere. ::shrug:: it's replaceable--the rest of the stuff isn't.
::hugs back::

actually, the thief also has my hairbrush, a plastic bag, a cup, and I believe some pads and stuff.

Bookbag nicked?
Possibly containing a sketchbook?

Hmmmmm. That sounds somehow familiar.
God that you got most stuff back.

Hope keys will turn up.

lol! you're right! me and katie were actually wondering if there's some type of weird sketchbook stalker who's become obsessed with my art, and was the culprit when my sketchbook went missing at the beginning of the year! If only someone as nice as that little girl (who's name escapes me--Yuki?) had found my bookbag. lol. although then I might not have my stuff back ;)

me too--I'm still going to check the lost and found today, in case they decided they didn't want my bookbag and dumped it. I'd be very amused if they started using it and then were with all their friends when they opened a side pocket and all my female thingies started falling out XD

I remember when I was away at orchestra camp (stop laughing) a bunch of kids had stolen some poor girl's bag, taken the pads out, and ripped off the sticky part and stuck those to my dorm room door. harumph.
