ha, I'm going back in time 11 minutes because I want to post this on Tuesday. XD It's actually 12:10. Oh well. >.>

Anyway, I had an excellent time today!

it's thundering, so I'm going to be brief here. . .

first I went driving with my mom. it's stressful, because mom is very high strung. But dad promises he'll take me out, too. but she was doing a good job teaching. . . i just felt like I wasn't really improving. but it did seem like my turns were getting better! :) I just need a lot of practice.

Since I was driving in the park right near Perin ([livejournal.com profile] froggie115p) we picked her up on the way back. We played Sorry, and then Pictionary (kinda. we used Picture This cards and didn't use a board or anything). But that was a lot of fun. Both of them. Perin won Sorry, and it was her first time! lol. Mom played Pictionary with us for a bit before she had to leave for work. I'm a horrible guesser, but I had a great time :) Some of the things on the cards were really easy, and some were just ridiculously difficult!! For example, David got Bachelor Girl. And decided to draw a Bachelorette party. This was made even more disturbing by Dave's complete lack of artistic skill. XD

Then, they went to taco bell for dinner, but I decided to stick around and scramble myself eggs. 4 eggs! O_O That's, uh, a lot. Oops. I need to eat better.

Actually, I was thinking maybe you guys would know some simple recipes that I could use for lunch. Or a place where I could find some? I'm so lazy, and plus, I'm picky, so usually I don't eat unless it's something that really appeals to me. So if you guys have any suggestions, even just for, like, a really good sandwich or something, that would be awesome.

Which actually brings me to my next point, which is that you all rock :D And the comments on my entry, uh, about comments (::blink::) made me feel really good and gave me a lot of confidence, and also not that but just in general. . . I just wanted to tell you all how much I value your friendship. And how much I love to read your entries and stuff, you're all vastly entertaining and/or interesting and cool. So, much love. :D

After dinner, we all went to David's to play Gabriel Knight. It was a good day to have an observer because we were doing really exciting things. . . until it died. Dammit! Actually, Katie/[livejournal.com profile] ambushbug has updated her journal for real! (instead of the previous entry, which was, ah. . . nevermind ;) And she explains this all further.

Almost went to Bethpage tomorrow, but we decided to wait a week. I'm kind of nervous and excited and all, at the same time. But it'll be good to be doing something.

Me and Katie are watching late night television together. Except it's Leno now, and I'm not really a fan--I'm waiting for Conan :D

I really do need to do more reading, and less computing, come to think of it. Much more relaxing. But tomorrow mom wants me and Katie to finish unpacking and stuff.

*huggles*

I haven't read the entry on comments you're talking about here -- I'm still working my way back! -- but whatever. You rock, too. :-D

And next year, plan on coming to Comic Con, girlie! It's so awesome! Neil Gaiman was there this year! And! On the last day, I got to talk to his press manager/bodyguard guy!!! Okay, not Neil himself, but still! And Terry Moore! Did talk to him! Got sketch! (Well, technically, Alseides got the sketch, but I was the one who requested it for her, so...) Around January of next year, my friends and I here will start making our plans. Did you want in on them? Come out! I want to meet you because you're COOL! Pwease?

Awwwwww

That's so sweet of you to say. *blushes*
I'm glad I'm not putting you to sleep, at least, not yet...

You are getting sleepy. Your eyes are starting to feel heavy. You feel like taking a nap.

LOL

I miss Conan sometimes especially his silly sketches with the television and the faces of political people. (especially with Bill Clinton) He's on quite late though here. I just find that the guests they get are dumb. I'm more of an James Lipton (The Actor's Studio) fan myself. :)

:D thank you! ::hugs::

I am definitely going to Comic Con next year if I have to, like. . . run away from home and hitchhike two weeks before it starts. :D As soon as I gorge myself on Fruits Basket, I'm going to start saving my money. lol. So I would love to be included in plans :D And I can't wait to meet you! Although I'm considerably different in real life. The lag-time with comments, and even IMs, helps me, because i think slow. XD

::drools over your Comic Con experiences::

lol. . . definitely not putting me to sleep. . . I ended up coming back online at around 3 last night, because I just couldn't get myself to sleep! Plus, I was trying to name everyone on my friends list and I was 5 short. O_O Not you, though! lol. But it was driving me crazy and I just had to check. XD

But in any case, your entries are fascinating :D

I can't watch a lot of shows that I'd like to, because I don't get cable. DX It's strange, when I went through my phase a couple years ago when I was still kind of trying to fit in, I didn't want cable. Now that I don't care what the rest of the world does, I really want it! If there's something really good that's going to be on, we have to bug our friends to record it for us. :(

But yeah, Conan is on too late. I can only watch it on fridays during the school year. And apparently, it's one of the reasons why my brother failed out of college, cos he watched it every day >.< ARGH! I worry about him.

Hello, I'm Guingel's brother and I'm a Conan-holic. I failed college because I couldn't function unless I got my daily fix of Conan. First, it was just Friday night, innocently enough, but then it got so bad that I even stayed up and watched the Monday night rerun show that I had seen already.

Sorry, I shouldn't make fun of your brother. I just can't attempt to put that type of investment anymore into a show because if I do, it means it's going to get cancelled. And if you remember correctly, how mad I get when they take off my favourite programs. I do a fair amount of venting on the subject.

Which reminds me I should start picking up a TV guide to give my predictions of what new series will not last a full season. :)

Oh, it's ok--he deserves it. He makes horrible decisions. Apparently he's smart, but he's so lazy and does such dumb things that he does really badly in school and all. Like, all his teacher's say "Michael is so smart, but he needs to work!". Not only to our parents or anything--I've had his teachers tell me that! O_O

I've noticed that it's always good shows, and good comic books, that seem to get cancelled. I guess my tastes are different from the rest of America or something. DX (if I had one of those monitor things, that shows the TV people what you're watching, I would totally throw off their calculations. . . I watch a lot of cooking shows and a lot of children's television)
