webhost

I may be in luck in my search for a web host. boomspeed.com is kinda slow, but whatever works. (only minor distortions)
I have a small collection of photos, but not to distress you too much, I will only show you my deleted Turn of the Screw oekaki (I really want to know why they did that. I've gotten over being upset, now I'm just really curious) and another piece of artwork from way back.

Actually, I don't think this is quite finished--it's a screencap and I think I did minor touch-ups afterwards, but whatever.

This one is from school. we did a sculpture unit, and the assignment was (for whatever reason) to do something morphing into something else. Well, I decided to do a Totoro morphing into a tree. To further the Great Totoro Conspiracy. (speaking of which, see here: http://sinfest.net/d/20000925.html)
he's kinda crooked in (at least) one of these cos that's how I take pictures. I don't know--I just hold the camera crooked.

ok. that's all. oh yeah, and all my sluggy icons can be viewed here: http://www.boomspeed.com/guingel/allicons.jpg

this one I had uploading problems with. XP ah well.

more photos to come later.

finished reading The Turn of the Screw. Kinda confusing. Didn't really like it, but hey, it's over. :D
Watched Bridget Jones' Diary. It was good. She has this constant look of being about to burst into tears.
My air conditioner is creaking. Mike says he thinks it's coming out of the wall. O_O Me and Katie hope it's not, but it's quite loud and might very well keep us awake. ugh. It's hot and muggy over here.
David returns tomorrow. Thank heavens. Katie's been useless the entire fortnight he's been gone ;)

Neat sculpture!

thanks :) I couldn't smooth it out as much as I'd have liked too, because I was almost done and I knew if I wrapped it up in wet paper towels for another day it'd just melt and sag and everything. So I stopped working and let it dry just a little earlier than I should have. I like how it turned out though :) And a totoro was fun to do.

hmm. all it takes is the slightest encouragement for me to talk people's ears off. >.< ugh.

It looks good! And I enjoy your personality, Laura, so I love it when you talk my ears off. ^_^

Dude, so that's the infamous deleted oekaki! That's a really fantastic piece... I really envy people who can do things like that on the computer. It be not fair, says I... ;)

lol. I'm being envied a lot lately. . . this is very, very strange. O.o It's a lot of fun for me, but when school starts again and I'm in art class my ego's going to be all inflated and then when I see everyone else's artwork it'll pop. lol.
