Anthony Weiner. Was on the Rachel Maddow Show today.
ANTHONY WEINER!! TALKING TO RACHEL MADDOW! XDDDDD
I DIED OF AMUSEMENT. So, so glad I tuned in.
I MUST get the podcast! It's not up yet, though, and I won't be going home tomorrow. Grrrr. Katie will have to obtain it for me if it's not available in the morning (msnbc only keeps their podcasts up for a day or so).
Between this and the Conan interview last night, Rachel is responsible for so much delight on my part just now.
So, Mr. Weiner, that little rascal, introduced an amendment to end Medicare so that Republicans would be forced to vote it down, thus officially stating their support for some government run health care plan. Oh, you. Tomorrow he plans to introduce a single payer option, that'll go over great. :D
Also Joey B was at the beer summit of racial tensions and no one mentioned it. :( WHAT BEER WAS JOEY DRINKING? It made me feel better to see him there, though, cos he's such a people person and also hasn't publicly insulted anyone involved far as I know. Although it looked like everyone was being quite serious in any case.
