Fun Bible Trivia Part 4!
Mar. 30th, 2009 05:52 pmPart 2 of your ten commandments fun facts! A short and simple one.
You know how Moses got two tablets? And the image of him holding two tablets is a pretty strong one. Well, the general impression is that there were five commandments on each tablet - even my menorah is designed like that. Actually, it was more like a Xerox copy - all 10 commandments were on each tablet. There was one copy for God and one for Israel. But both were kept in the ark.
I'm figuring the reason we know this is from legal convention at the time, but I'm not sure.
But, good news for all you Fun Bible Trivia fans, when I was home this weekend I found some of my notes from Smith, so there's more to come. Some puns are coming up.
I kept almost posting this to a community. Various ones - I accidentally clicked the thing several times.
I got a certificate in Access 2007 today! XD I love trainings that end with a certificate. And knowledge.
