My biography and Dream Journal Con't
Dec. 9th, 2007 12:49 pmMy dreams are pretty freaky-ass, so every once in a while I like to record some of the more memorable ones. So that later when I suddenly go totally crazy and do something newsworthy, and people are all like "She seemed pretty nice and well-adjusted," you guys can be like "Whoa, no. Check out these dreams" and they'll be used in my biography. Speaking of which, I was hanging out with roommate!Corey on Friday, and it was oodles of fun and we snuck into empty buildings and were looking around and then we heard a door slam and hot-footed out. But first we were hanging out in the library with much whispering and giggling and disturbing other people in the computer lab. (We were investigating keeping chickens as pets, which seems AWESOME to me but I'm told they're really smelly. Way to ruin my dream, guys! ::sigh::) Anyway, I was telling Corey I wanted a biography written about me and she was so bored and unmotivated to work on her paper that she wrote some of it:
( The Woman, the Legend )
( Dream 1: Crazy Spooning Hobos )
( Dream 2: Giant Invading Hamsters )
Actually, it's appropriate that Corey comes up so much in this entry, because as my roommate, she got to hear the greatest number of my crazy dreams - I once had a pair of extra-super-disturbing ones right after each other. . . good times. Icon also features Corey art. :D She's the clumsy pirate, I'm the edgy wench. Note edgy sunglasses.
Anyway, I should get back to work. BLAAAAGH. Too much to do, can't motivate self. Might watch D no Arashi, then do work. I want to write a couple pages of my paper today, and do my last two freaking proofs. And start scripting out the little comic strips I'm doing as my Southeast Asian Religion final project. Ugh. He wants us to do a creative project from within the culture, like from within the mindset? I don't know. I'm doing the comics as an insider, though - not the stuff that looks weird to us from the outside, hopefully, but the stuff that as an insider trying to live the traditions, the stuff that's hard to follow. We'll see. >.> I got an A on the final (if I didn't mention that already, which I think I did. :D So modest!) so that takes off the presure. Is that it? Yeah. Write a few pages, do proofs, start scripting, maybe work on my last seminar reading. Won't study for my Latin American History final tonight because I leant my notebook to Courtney, which is a good excuse not to work on it.
