I just realized, my life has come to an almost complete standstill. Am I even at university? Truly, this week is one to savor: I have nothing to do and I don't feel like doing anything. It's quite. . . quite pleasantly surprising. It's now March 6. I had class on the fifth and the first and I'll have it on the eighth. But then not again until the twelfth. So in between March 2 and March 11 I will only have had class twice. Eve. . . I started to write eve and then I got a text. Even? Even what? What was I going to say? I don't know. In any case, I feel calm and relaxed. Hahaha, relaxed, is that what this feeling is? So hard to recognize, for me. But yeah. I just don't feel any pressure to do things. So nice. Like, I guess cos it allows me to feel contented. Lack of internal and external pressure. I mean, I do have some work to get done, but not a lot. Nothing urgent or extensive.
I was just thinking I should really appreciate this break.
I think I'm only able to feel this way because I have an occupying new obsession. So if I just stay at the computer and watch videos and read fanfics and stuff, it's totally cool. The obsession, if you're wondering, is the J-pop boy band NewS, and their leader Yamapi (Yamashita Tomohisa). And also a number of the other members, especially Shigeaki Kato, and Masuda Takahisa, Koyama Keiichiro and Nishikido Ryo. Good times. And I've been watching doramas, Japanese live action dramas. If anyone is familiar with them, I've watched Nobuta wo Produce, Gachi Baka, Dragon Zakura, Hana Yori Dango and My Boss, My Hero all the way through (OK, I'm on the last episode of Gachi Baka) as well as parts of Sapuri, Long Love Letter, Attention Please and a couple others whose names I don't remember. These all have actors in them who are also in NewS, except for Sapuri which stars another boy band member who was in Nobuta wo Produce with Yamapi. Who is incredibly beautiful. And Hana Yori Dango, which also has another boy band member from Johnny's Entertainment, who produces all the boy bands in Japan, and is also just really, really good. Or at least, the first season is really good. My Boss, My Hero and Hana Yori Dango are probably the two shows that I would recommend without hesitation to pretty much everyone. They're both funny and cute and well-written and not too weird.
So yeah. That's, uh, what's up with me. Just chilling. Relaxing. Chillaxing, even.
