I know the stereotype for blogs is that it's all angsting, but I hate to write when I'm sad. I don't like it preserved, and I don't want to share it, spread it around. I'd much rather do that for the good times. Or maybe I just like gloating!

Anyway, I had a lovely day. I slept very late, because I stayed up too late last night. Hopefully I'll get to sleep within the next half hour tonight.

But then I got up and spent an hour going through my comic books pulling out ones I want to read. I'm going to have to do a more thorough job soon, though!

Then I went downstairs and made myself a toaster pizza, which mom suggested I eat outside. So I did, and it was very lovely. Then I pulled out a lawn chair and get some pillows and my batman blanket and a whole bunch of comic books and read all afternoon! :D It was so nice. Sooo nice. So lovely to be home where all of my comic books are at my fingertips. I've been rereading YJ. And I think I'm also going to reread Impulse. And I was reading the JLA: Incarnations series they did a while ago, but it turns out that while it is diverting, it is not particularly well-written. I like the drawings, though. I just like Val Semeiks' art--because he did Foreign Bodies. XD So, good associations. Anyways, it turns out that a lot of good comics were written while I was in middle school--1998-2000 or so. And that's when I was bringing comics in to school and we were staying after class in earth science to talk about them with Mr. Smith. Ooh, Smitty. He was so awesome.

Hahah, ok, I just went to my high school's page at ratemyteachers.com. . . which I never did when I attended the school, and I've been to the website, but just looking up the ratings of my cousins, who are teachers. And never to my own school. Strange. There were a lot of teachers at my high school that I did not have.

Anyway, i don't have anything else to say. Uhm. It's really great to be home. Oh, right! I did have something else to say--It's really nice to be with my parents again. After dinner dad told me all about what was happening in Lucifer, and then mom and I watched a Monty Python DVD together. It was really ice. I love home. I feel good. Refreshed.
