Time for a quick inventory of my awesome Christmas presents--very, very satisfactory Christmas this year. We're going to Borders soon to spend a gift card that was a gift many months ago--my birthday, I guess. Katie wants me to say "many moons" instead of "many months". So, many moons.

Speaking of Katie, she got me the awesomest gift! YAY!!!! Because she rocks my socks. Oh yeah, she also got me three pairs of very attractive socks, one of which has. . . monkeys!

Between Christmas and Channukah, I got. . . an insane number of DVDs. 12. And one that I'm sharing with Katie. Three box sets--one with five DVDs, one with 4, and the Neverwhere with 2. And then one little DVD on it's own XD

From Katie--awesome! And totally unexpected! Box set with the first four Horatio Hornblowers! Oh, the Bamberage! (we use that word all the time now) There's part of me that wants to see Mutiny and Retribution for the increased Bamberage, and then there's part of me that doesn't want to see the death of the Bamber! lol. I mean, Archie. But in any case, I'll need to watch (and thoroughly enjoy) the episodes I have. Except for the Fire Ships, that can wait--no Archie.

My other box set, just as awesome, but expected (and not just cos I saw it beforehand--meep! accident, but it was too bad) was the first season of Stargate SG-1! Rocking! ::dances:: I've watched the first five episodes so far. Also, one of the best parts of my Christmas gifts is that Katie has been watching them with me ::hugs:: (I really did) which makes it a lot more fun. Every time Teal'c is on the screen, every other word out of our mouth is "Awesome!" it just gets silly. "Teal'c is. . . awesome!"--I'll try to think of a different word and I just come back to awesome! Similar things happen for Sam, but we can vary it with sexy and smart, and then return to awesome. Jack hasn't been so awesome--yet! I know it comes. We don't like Daniel. . . So anyway, we're thoroughly enjoying the Stargate DVDs. Especially when Daniel's not on screen. . .

Mike also got me one of the little one-shot Stargate SG-1 DVDs, from Season 2. Sadly, I've already seen three of the five episodes, but it's nice to have them on DVD, so it's all good.

That's all for DVDs. Oh, yeah. We got David Coupling Season 2, and, due to complications, so did his parents, so we ended up with one. >.>

As I mentioned before, Katie also got me three pairs of socks, cos she is awesome. I got her a plaid flannel shirt and boxers--for her Build-A-Bear. His name is Harry, after Harrison Ford, and he is an action bear with an Indiana Jones hat. We're going to make him a tiny whip. Inexplicably, they don't sell them. But! They do sell Air Force uniforms! So we're going to get him one and he can cosplay as Jack (from Stargate). And I got Katie Gravitation manga (thanks to the anime sampler that [livejournal.com profile] cloudtrader sent us a while ago. Katie liked Gravitation) and two back issues of Young Justice. Eight and Nine, since we had up to seven thanks to A League of Their Own. (yesterday in the city we bought 10 and 11--but we couldn't find any others! :( ) So my gifts weren't as cool as a Horatio Hornblower box set, and had no Jamie Bamber, but I think she enjoyed them. (Katie's wandering in and out of this entry) (I mean, room)

I also got a very nice brown wallet from my parents, and a really pretty chinese purse--slightly larger than wallet size. It's really nice. That was from a friend of ours who used to work with my dad--we tend to meet him for lunch in Chinatown when we go into the city (but not yesterday, he'd taken the day off), so. . . he also gave me and Katie both 20 dollar gift certificates to the Chinatown Ice Cream Factory! Holy shit! Awesome! We spent an unbelievable 11 dollars there yesterday--but we did buy to share with David and his sister Stephanie. Anyway, that was just awesome.

I also got two extremely attractive shirts. A black velvet scoop neck with satin lining--it feels really good. And this really, really nice gray turtle-neck not-quite-sweater. Very pretty shade of light silvery gray. And I got this beautiful necklace and matching earrings with little red roses on them. So pretty!

All three kids got these great warm fuzzy blankets for watching TV and everything. Really nice. Mine is green :) And, I got an awesome gift--gloves! I really needed them. Nice, warm, thick insulated gloves. Two pairs, actually. One of which is fuzzy and full of quilting and are just great, and the other pair is the kind you'd wear in the snow, more of a swooshy material, you know? I was really delighted. :D It was the first gift I opened, actually. . . and I really needed gloves. Coolness.

So I actually totally got everything I wanted, except for two things which I'm going to buy for myself with my Christmas money. I want the next Finder (Finder: King of Cats. . . I also want Talisman, though), and I want the box set of Stargate SG-1 Season 4. I hear it's really good and has funny commentaries and all that, plus, it has the infamous "Window of Opportunity" episode. yay! I have enough to buy those, put plenty of money aside for ComicCon, and still have enough to go see RotK a couple more times. yay!

ohhh!! Speaking of Comic Con!! Dad says that, like, as a graduation present, he and mom will probably be able to pay for, say, plain tickets, and hotel rooms, and everything, which means that my money that I've been saving--soon to be around $150--can go to swag! I can certainly spend that much. . . I guess the main question is will I be able to carry stuff back!
This also means that Katie will be able to come!! Yay! She wants to, I'm pretty sure. And this way, no one will have to drag me around--I have to bad a sense of direction to go off on my own, but Katie's quite good. And we have very close comic interests, for the most part. . . Anyway, all good! ::bounce bounce::

Well, David's here, so I should be collecting cash and shoes.
