Sep. 30th, 2003 06:49 pmGood things did happen today, I was just too tired to write about them before.
First--me and Clemens finally met with Miss R about the physics C! Wooooo! I think I can do it. :D And I have a textbook. Not to mention the pink evil doom workbooks from last year. lol. Still, very exciting. And I like both Clemens and Miss R.
Miss T sighting. lol. woo! again. XD I like Miss T. (that was kind of pointless, but you know.)
second--actually, first, but that's ok--I had a good time eighth period. I chilled with some of my favorite choir people (after Emily and Perin, that is) and we listened to the CD from when they sang at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center. And sang and stuff. It was fun.
Also: Susan bought me a 100 Grand Bar. . and then gave me her gobstoppers after she didn't want any more. Yay Susan! ::is now eating gobstoppers, having reminded herself about them::
I'm torn between wanting to watch the tape of our production of Fiddler on the Roof (me and Katie were singing the songs) and wanting to watch Top Hat, the Fred & Ginger movie.
I made a still life involving a bunch of pencils and a paper bag. We have two days for this, so I'm going to make another one tomorrow, involving a paper bag and some things I bring in. I'm not sure which ones.
Today's Sluggy Freelance is hysterical! I didn't get a chance to finish checking the rest of the webcomics this morning, though, so I'll do that when I finish. I'm also enjoying Torg Potter and the Chamber Pot of Secretions so much I had to go back and read Torg Potter and the Sorcerer's Nuts.
During math me and Adam and Johnny (well, not Johnny, as he's not taking math this year) went down to the office to get our pictures taken, cos we got National Merit letters of commendation. We're not finalists or anything, but you know. Whatever. Second time in a couple weeks I've gotten my press taken for a press release. The other time was this National Organization of Women thingie. Why does all this stuff come up after I revised my resume? Anyway, they're both really tall, and I felt silly. lol.
I'm out of gobstoppers, so I'm going to stop writing.
