ARGH! I'm at my friends page now. . . but I haven't even been able to go onto livejournal, or read webcomics, or anything lately. i've hardly been home! On Thursday was Choir Banquet, a big good-bye party for seniors. Me and Katie were invited, and it was really cool! But we also were helping put it together (the underclassmen throw the part for the seniors, and because my friends are so cool, they were heads of the two most intensive committees.) so I was home for all of an hour and I was showering and getting dressed the whole time. ::collapses:: We didn't get home til midnight. Then on friday we hung out at the school for a big, then David took me to the library cos he rocks. I brought back Rope and After the Thin Man (I'm not sure where The Thin Man is, so hopefully it's been returned--but guess what! I found both of them on a tape that had been recorded off the TV about 10 years ago! :D I was so happy!) and I took out Destry Rides Again, Rear Window, and The Rare Breed. But Friday evening I watched You Can't Take it With You. And it was soooo good, and sooo sweet, and SOOO cute!! :D
I also made an important discovery about the library: it has a comic book section!!! Squeee! I saw this poster that said "Get Graphic", and I investigated closely, and there were 2 whole shelves full of graphic novels! I got BoM: Transformations and BoM: Girl in the Box, both of which were cool, but I preferred GitB (I feel bad for Leah, btw. awww!). They have the next one. . . I forget what it's called, but I'm going to take it out soon. I also got Books of Faerie--I was so happy! We have book 2 of that. And there are 3 books. So we don't have the beginning or the conclusion. Most infuriating.
Anyway, after I watched You Can't Take it With You, I went to bed. This was at 8. At 10, my brother knocked on my door (my parents were out) telling me that he had fresh eggs, and he knew I liked scrambled eggs. My brother is now working at Old Bethpage Restoration Village, where I volunteered after ninth grade. So I got up and made scrambled eggs at 10--it was good, because I hadn't eaten. I ended up doing some work on the computer for my sketchbook, so I went to bed at 12-ish. Then this morning I had my SAT IIs. Writing, French, and US history. XP
Now we're having Mike's birthday party with our family. Only Mike hasn't gotten home from work yet, so oh well.
Anyway, I have a crapload of homework. I have to do a report for social studies, 1200 words, on parkways in America in the 1920s. Then, for Wednesday, I have a 3 page (nice and short!) research paper for English on the role of women in different religions (from the perspective of Eve). Due Monday, I also have to put together a portfolio for art--the cover of this was what I'd been working on last night. And I have several labs to do for Physics. YAAAAAAAAHH!!!!
