so. . . you know what I found out today? I'm the only one in my grade who got a 5 on the European History AP. O_O Wow. We went to visit the teacher after school today, and she was very proud and happy :D wow. I keep thinking of it and kind of giggling randomly. >.> ::giggles:: (randomly)
We chilled after school outside by The Tree for a bit, but then a lot of people showed up and we decided to leave. When I say "we" I mean me and Katie, and Emily and Perin, and also Perin's brother Freddy, who's two years younger than us, a freshman. He was chilling with us today :) So we ended up going to Emily's since it's Rosh Hashana (sp? ack!) and obviously she'd have her meal at home and all, but we were invited as well. First we just chilled and talked and all. Much fun. But then we started to play ping-pong, and the real fun started!! XD It was great!! And Freddy was playing too, which was good cos he wasn't completely comfortable with all of us yet, so that helped him loosen up. He behaved well--better than Keith on most days ;) But like, I don't know if Perin's gonna be real happy with her brother chilling with us. Although them fighting was pretty amusing :) Of course, if it ever came to blows we'd help Perin. . .
Finished our essays in English for Grendel and Beowulf. (i'm kinda moving backwards through the day).
In physics, it was safety day. Now I wish I was still worried about the work. Instead I'm completely paranoid about safety!! It'll pass, I think--but I'm still going to be extremely careful!!! (btw, I'm on OS X, which is rather annoying and is throwing me off, but yeah)
In art we're doing skeleton studies, we do one drawing a day for the next 4 days. I didn't get up to shading--I barely finished the outline >.< ack. But she did approve of my sketchbook theme: Life. (she told us to do something we're interested in) But I need an idea for what to draw first. . .
At lunch me and Emily talked about the We(e) Sing Videos!! (I can't remember if it was wee as in small or we as in us) I love(d) those!! :D I need to watch them all again! Cos Emily cut her muffin into quarters and I was like, wow that's very neat and. . . fastidious is, I suppose what I was thinking. And she said that she saw it in a movie--and I was like, "The Muffin Man!!" (that was roughly how it went--we were both thinking of the same guy on the same video and she totally did not expect me to know that! XD) So we discussed all the different movies for most of the period. hehehe. She has one that I haven't seen--at a circus!
Third period yesterday was an assembly. You were supposed to go to your class, have the teacher take attendance, then go to the assembly. But me and Katie had off--and it was Katie's first off period all year. And she wanted to eat her lunch. So we skipped the assembly and sat outside. Definitely out of character for me.
Katie is now responsible for attendance in Friedman's class. >.< I got brownie points with him for using an article he gave us to read XD
I found the teacher in charge of Mathletes, who I had last year, and she said it starts the Tuesday after next.
edit: I forgot to mention. Friday afternoon (it's now saturday) when we were sitting outside, Emily got out her money and started to count it. Then she was holding it for a bit, and I leaned over and slipped the 20 dollar bill out from the bottom of the pile, and sat on it. Keith and Perin noticed, but Emily did not. In a bit Keith asked Emily if she was missing something. She thought the 20 was in her backpack and not her wallet, so she couldn't figure it out. heheh. I think I have a career as a pick-pocket ahead of me XD (or not.)
btw, I make the font small, so I tend to see less of a need to cut-tag than someone using a larger font, so tell me if my entries are too long.
