happy hamster dance!
Aug. 28th, 2002 03:09 pmGood day today. First we went to the dentist. It doesn't sound good, but it is. I got all squeaky clean and the dentist said I was in good shape :) yay!!
Then we went to my aunt and uncle's house--they've just gotten 2 eight week old (roughly) kittens from Wisconsin (from my other aunt who has family there). Their names are Harold and Maude :) (I'm not sure how you spell maude. it's from a movie, yes?) They're so cute!! They're not fluffy, they're kinda long-ish. I love them! :D They were very playful and friendly! Mom got them a paper bag and they were so cute in it! For a while they were both inside, and being quiet, but then Harold came out and was stepping all over Maude, and attacking her, and jumping around, and it was so cute! Then Maude came out. . . and Harold went in! And Maude did the same thing :) Except that at one point Harold burst out of the bag, and Maude was so frightened she jumped backwards! They were trying to bite the bag and stuff. So cute!
Then we went to my grandpa's for lunch. I had a big lunch--very big, considering I usually eat almost nothing for lunch! I had home-made bread, which grandpa called muffin bread, and I had jelly which he'd made himself on it! It was made of raspberry, boysenberry (sp?), grape, and cranberry juice. He gave us some to take home :) And I had a bowl of Lipton's chicken noodle soup.

I called her and we were invited to go see Master of Disguise (Emily and Perin love Dana Carvey) but it was with a whole group of people, some of whom I don't know that well and aren't that close with, and katie was really tired, so we opted out. Ah well. Save money this way ;) I'm not nice enough to be good with large groups--I'm too picky, I don't like enough people. ::shrugs:: Well, whatever.
Emily's going to call afterwards and we'll get together and do dinner. We chilled with her and Perin yesterday but Perin had to go home early for a Sweet Sixteen :( It was so good to see her though!! I'm glad she's back--our group was finally complete! :D So hopefully this evening we'll be able to spend some more time with them.
Had some interesting philosophical discussion last night at Hot Threadz. Only problem is that it kept me up too late >.< Ah well.
Katie's napping now, but I'm going to see if I can't get her to watch some Fruits Basket with me later. She still hasn't seen the last 3 episodes, and I want to watch it again :)
