Aug. 16th, 2002 07:55 pmserious thunderstorm today. And the rain didn't start til a fair bit after the thunder (I believe. . . I'm not sure when I was awake and when I wasn't cos my mom says she called and I missed it, but I do seem to remember being awake at the beginning of the storm) so the sky just exploded--extremely loud thunder. And since there was no rain I was worried that it was like, a shooting or something for a bit.
I had put the computer to sleep when I went to take my nap, so it was on during the storm, and when I woke up and had eaten dinner and stuff, I tried to turn the computer on. . . and it wouldn't. ugh. stressful. I was left worrying until my dad got home, and he was able to fix it very easily. So, yeah, don't leave your computer on during a thunderstorm.
dag, I missed the end of "Driving Miss Daisy" cos Katie and David came in and were talking loudly so mom plugged in the headphones. Ah well.
I've been getting myself out of spending time with David. ho hum. eh.
spoke to Perin on AIM today :D (she's in Switzerland for the summer, but she was at a friend's house). It was much fun--good to hear from her!
I've become addicted to Yatta!. XD It's very scary, but extremely funny at the same time. And I like the song! Katie's being kinda mean to me about it though. :( humph.
Actually, I was wrong. I correct myself. Me and Katie watched it again. (david read the Monty Python book. he can't handle it)
We were going to do things with Emily/
d3c3p7i0n today, but evidently she can't. -_- ugh. And won't be able to until late next week. dammit!
My brother has gotten a speeding ticket. augh. >.< ::sigh:: geez. no wonder I worry about him!! This isn't helping! My dad is almost relieved though--hopefully he's learned his lesson and neither he nor the car were hurt.
oh yes. i scanned my drawing of the summer. -_-;;; I really need to draw more!
