beach bum. no, really. >.>

Yes. I went to the beach. first time in a couple years. I'm all sand-clogged now. must shower. my hands actually taste kinda salty. This was the first time I really went out in the waves, because, as I said, I haven't been there in a long time and when we went before I was too afraid to go in--largely because I'm a teeny weeny person. well, was. I'm more average now. (5' 3.5". on the short side) But anyway, me and mom went in the water and jumped over waves and all that. The ocean is really pretty kicking (except for the saltiness XP) because one minute your in up to your neck, and then you put your feet down and the water's only up to your waist. Very interesting. And you don't have to entertain yourself or anything.
Katie and David made sandcastles (and buried me, too). It was fun. In between swims I went and visited. We didn't stay that long. Got there after lunch and stayed til around 4-ish.

Now they've gone to Stephen's barbecue. Stephen is our shyest and quietest Academons boy (which makes him one of the cutest, too ;). He's a really sweetie. Technically Dave was invited, and he asked if he could bring us (knowing how we feel about Stephen). So I could have gone, but being in the sun and everything made me sleepy :) Freckly, too. lol.

I got Princess Mononoke songs!! w00t! Two, the theme song and "The Legend of Ashitaka". :D
I also got the Silver Chair (movie) from the library, and I bought the Voyage of the Dawn Treader (book) at the mall yesterday (we went for a little while). And I finished reading the Last Battle. Which has a beautiful ending. :)
I'm rediscovering Narnia. I've been away too long.

I discovered that David doesn't like when good things happen in books. Apparently, it's boring. I think this shows he's not reading books correctly.

We played Curse of Monkey Island at his house yesterday. It's his favorite and I like it a lot so far as well. :D Very, very amusing. and fun. I get to use the controls now because when Katie has them she and david make out and I get bored and do legos. Plus, I'm a control freak ;) (well, when it comes to stuff like that)

I'm wondering if I should experiment with Diablo II. We have it somewhere. The thing is, I love Diablo because I can just go in and wack people: I don't need to do any thinking. (especially not now that I'm using a very high level character on most of the lower levels--I go up to 6-7-8, then stop and start over. I'm a wuss and not overly good at it. Mike's beat the game though) I'm worried that Diablo II requires you to think more. More complicated and stuff. I don't know. It just seems that way.
I also want to play Warcraft again. Although we got a new monitor and it's all wack-job on it. >.< gyaah! We only have 2. I'm worried about 3 the same way I'm worried about Diablo II. That and I don't know the cheats. I use cheats on Warcraft. lol. I suck. I don't cheat on Civilization though (I think we have 2. . .). I mean, I have, but I usually don't.

I posted my icons at the sluggy community and 3 people have actually asked to use some! Whoa. That's way cool. (I can't join an icon community because I can't upload all of them and stuff. ugh. plus, I've noticed a lot of those icons are like. . . pop-centered.)

anyway, that's all. that I can think of. Am rereading Real Life and then I'm going to have to reread Penny Arcade because Katie's finally reading it for the first time and i was looking over her shoulder and it called to me :D She's also finally getting around to finishing up Sinfest. Or she was, now that David's back she may start slacking off ;)

and if so, do you know any good Fushigi Yuugi sites? My friend Emily has just become addicted and tells me she's having great difficulties finding some good sites.
